Vinny is holding a camera until Dareth crashes into him and knocks him over. Vinny then shouts that he quits and runs off.

Vinny filmed Gayle while they traveled in a helicopter to get a closer look at Djinjago.

Green Destiny[]

Vinny is seen holding his camera when he and Gayle Gossip are being attacked by the Sons of Garmadon. Dareth accidentally saves them by falling over and over but it seemed as if he was intentionally kicking them.

Dareth asked Vinny if he got that on film and is pleased he did. As Dareth leaves, he watches Gayle swoon over her rescue.

After Garmadon's defeat, Vinny attended the celebration for the ninja.

March of the Oni[]

The Darkness Comes[]

Vinny is seen when Cole, Zane, and P.I.X.A.L. arrive at the Harbor tent. Later, He and several citizens run from the darkness.

Into the Breach[]

Vinny was at NGTV during the Oni's invasion. He tried to get a signal, but the Destiny's Bounty's audio did not reach him until he was just about to sign off.

The Fall[]

Once the ninja arrived to rescue the NGTV staff, Vinny and other citizens head to the roof to climb aboard the Destiny's Bounty.

Later on, he accidentally stumbles upon Garmadon when looking for the bathroom. As he was in awe to meet Garmadon, he introduced himself and tried to leave, but Garmadon asked what is more important than surviving. Vinny responds that friendship, trust and courage are more important than surviving, and that life itself would be pointless without any of those qualites. Understanding the point, Garmadon accepts this and allows Vinny to leave.

Questing for Quests[]

Vinny filmed Gayle during her reportage with Clutch Powers in the Desert of Doom.

Boobytraps and How to Survive Them[]

Vinny filmed Gayle during her reportage near the pyramid in the Desert of Doom.

Snaketastrophy[]

When Gayle voiced her frustration of Fred Finely covering the Elemental Cobras attack while she did the puppy petting competition, Vinny informs her that they're on-air and she was surprised and embarrassed but still reluctantly did the report. When an Elemental Cobra scares everyone away, Gayle chooses to pursue it and a reluctant Vinny comes along. They film Aspheera, who was looking for the Treacherous Deceiver that locked her in the pyramid and they both end up caught with Aspheera threatening them to reveal the location of the Ninjago Museum of History, which Vinny tells before they're both grabbed. Aspheera later had Vinny film her to show her speech to the city.

Powerless[]

An Elemental Cobra held Vinny hostage while Gayle follows Aspheera to the museum. Once they got there, Gayle tells Vinny she thinks this would make great news, but he was unsure. Later, while the ninja and Aspheera's army fought for the scroll, Vinny dragged Gayle away.

Vinny records Gayle's news report near the museum.

The Kaiju Protocol[]

Vinny is recording Gayle's broadcast on the Preeminent's arrival in Ninjago City when the Preeminent interrupts them and blows them across the city. After Samurai X saves them, Vinny watches them battle each other. At one point, Gayle reminds him to record the fight.

Vinny went out to buy some noodles in the Ramen noodle cart when the Mechanic is driving his Noodle Truck of Crime in Ninjago City.

Gayle Gossip: A Closer Look[]

Vinny and Gayle Gossip stands outside of Benny's Arcade Emporium, making a news report about the newly revealed video game, Prime Empire.

Game Over[]

Vinny, Gayle, and Okino are surrounded by Red Visors but are saved when Unagami powers them down.

Vinny was filming Gayle during her reportage in Ninjago Harbor when Wojira came.

Assault on Ninjago City[]

Vinny was filming Gayle on the building when Wojira attacked them. However, they were rescued by P.I.X.A.L. and Wu on the Destiny's Bounty.

Nyad[]

When they were on the Bounty, Vinny was filming Gayle's reportage.

The Turn of the Tide[]

Vinny was present at Nya's memorial.

Vinny filmed Gayle during her reportage with Clutch Powers after the premiere of Clutch Powers: A Musical Life.

Before Crystalized[]

Sometime during the year after the Great Flood, Vinny was visited by Garmadon, who wanted to know more about life from him, and eventually allowed him to live in his apartment, even giving him a plant to care for as part of learning about life, but had started staying up late into the night as a result, which was why he started falling asleep while recording with Gayle.

Crystalized[]

Farewell the Sea[]

Vinny appears at the harbour with Gayle, where they see the New Ninja by Miss Demeanor's goons. At the candlelight vigil, Gayle tells Vinny she doesn't care about his roommate keeping him up at night as they're live.

Public Enemies 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5![]

Vinny leans by his window, drinking a cup of coffee, when the van, lifted by Zane's chopper, passes by.

Ninjago City vs. Ninja[]

Vinny was among the crowd at the ninja's hearing.

Crystastrophe[]

Vinny begins to fall asleep before the report, but Gayle manages to get him back to his senses, to which he apologizes as his roommate kept him up at night again.

Brave But Foolish[]

Vinny, along with Gayle and some citizens, end up surrounded by Crystal Warriors before being saved by Kai, Jay and Cole, and cheer them on with Vinny filming them.

Compatible[]

When Wu suggests getting a signal out to Vania, Vinny suggests the antenna at NGTV News headquarters, and Blazey H. Speed offers to take him and Cole to it. Reaching the news van, Vinny tells Blazey not to damage the van as repairs come out if his pay check.

Distress Calls[]

Alongside Cole, Vinny sat in the news van, completely terrified of Blazey's crazy driving. Although he did at points make suggestions for her to slow down or practice general driving safety, his suggestions were ignored.

After reaching the NGTV News Tower, Vinny recorded Cole's message to Vania but was forced to flee when Dragonides spotted and attacked the trio. After retreating into the tower, Vinny admitted his doubts about the message being successfully transmitted prior to the destruction of the transmission tower.

Dragon Form[]

Blazey drives the van before opening the back, and Vinny and Gayle exit it.

Roots[]

Vinny celebrated alongside Gayle in the streets of Ninjago City following the Crystal King's defeat. Later, he and Gayle helped the Ninja rebuild their monastery.

Trivia[]

• "Day of the Great Devourer" is the only episode at which Vinny was shown with a reporter other than Gayle Gossip.
• Vinny's eyebrows change to the same design as Nobu's in the upgraded WILFilm ApS animation from Season 8: Sons of Garmadon onward, and he uses a more generic design in the WildBrain animation.
• His Swedish voice actor, Mikael Regenholz, voiced Lloyd in The LEGO Ninjago Movie.
• He is uncredited in "Day of the Great Devourer" and referred to as "Cameraman" in the credits of "The Day Ninjago Stood Still." He was only given a name as of Season 10, when he had a larger role in the story.
• Although he did not physically appear in some episodes, his presence is evident as he filmed Gayle there.
• His design was often used on background characters in the WILFilm ApS seasons, such as the father in "Once Bitten, Twice Shy" or the garbage man in "True Potential."
  • However, in the WildBrain seasons, his design is unique to him.
• Tommy Andreasen has spoken on why fans love Vinny, saying, "There's nothing special about his design at all. It's just the way he conducts himself and talks, and the way he kind of graces the story every once in a while and then he's out again, it makes a very endearing character."^[2]
• Damages to the NGTV News van come out of his pay.^[3]
• Vinny may be the brave camera man mentioned in Mysteries of the Merged World that survived the Merge.
