Overview
The candlelight vigil was an event where the people of Ninjago City went to a canal and put candlelights on the canal for it to go to the sea in honor of Nya.

Farewell the Sea[]
After the ninja failed at their attempt to bring him back and as he was working, Lloyd watches a TV through a window where Gayle Gossip speaks of the candlelight vigil, stating whether if any officials will show up or not is unknown but she says that she will also show up. This ultimately inspired Lloyd and then Jay to return to the team,
The Call of Home[]
As Nya roams the sea, she finds the candlelights all over the sea and after reading multiple letters from the candlelights, one in particular telling her to come home for Jay, she regains her memories.

- This is the third time a memorial has been dedicated to a member of the ninja. The first two being Zane after the Nindroid crisis and Garmadon after the Second Serpentine War.
