Overview
Explosive shurikens were shurikens used by Zane that explode. Later, the Teal Ninja used a newer version of them against Miss Demeanor's henchmen.

Spy for a Spy[]
In an attempt to escape Clouse's serpent, P.I.X.A.L. helps Zane activate the shurikens to blow up the ground below him and Cole, bringing them to safety.
Farewell the Sea[]
When Miss Demeanor's henchmen stepped out of a car to pay a Vengestone seller, someone throws some explosive shurikens in front of them, which in turn explode.
The Shape of Nya[]
After encountering Miss Demeanor and her henchmen again within the abandoned N line, the Teal Ninja opened his attack by hurling a pair of explosive shurikens at Miss Demeanor, briefly incapacitating her.
Public Enemies 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5![]
The Teal Ninja threw one into the Golden Dragon Jet to impede the progress of the thieves trying to steal Aspheera's staff.

- According to Tommy Andreasen, Zane most likely no longer has the ability to produce explosive shurikens because he used them up in Tournament of Elements.[1]
