After assembling the Ninja Replacements, Jay came up with a plan to build a new vehicles on Ed & Edna's Junkyard to quickly rescue Nya from Nadakhan. Meanwhile, Dogshank carried Nya the the Temple of Airjitzu and was complaining about the fact that after Nya's marriage, they will be on the same side, she she will not have her "girl rival". However, she declined Nya's suggestion to free her. At that moment, Clancee saw that the Ninja Replacements are heading to them and was going to tell about it to Nadakhan, but Dogshank stopped him by saying that the Djinn shouldn't know that they let heroes to come this close.
Clancee, Monkey Wretch, Sqiffy, Bucko and Cyren attacked the Replacements on their pirate vehicles. The battle was equal, but at the end, Cyren used her singing ability, forcing the heroes to retreat and leaving Jay to come up with a new plan.

- The comic takes place during "Operation Land Ho!"
- This is the first and only media to show Cyren's singing attack ability.
- In the comic, Captain Soto is confused by a pirate monkey, which means that he wasn't aware of one of the main members of Nadakhan's crew.

- In the comic, Nya is dragged to the Temple of Airjitzu after Jay gathers the Ninja Replacements. However, in "Operation Land Ho!," Nya is already at the Temple of Airjitzu before Jay gathers them.
- In the comic, Nya is wearing her Deepstone suit, but by this point in the timeline, she has already acquired her Destiny suit.
- In the comic, Squiffy and Bucko don’t warn Nadakhan after spotting the ninja replacement team. However, in "Operation Land Ho!", they do warn Nadakhan after spotting the same team, making their behavior inconsistent.
