Strike of the Serpentine (flashback)[]
When Wu, Sono, Levo and Benton came to the Emerald Forest to recruit Brook, she used her vines on them, saying that they lost their way and fear can sprout reactions far worse than the initial seed. However, Benton did not agree with her and said that if the only way to keep Ninjago is a war, he is ready for it, which led Brook to decline their offer.
After the Battle of Birchwood Forest, Brook found the devastated Benton who just "betrayed" his allies. Thinking that Brook came here to tease him, Benton said she doesn't have to tell him what he already knows. However, Brook said that the reason why she is here is that despite the world breaking apart, she believes that things still can grow anew. Then, she and Benton went to Jamanakai Village where they found Strike and the Elemental Alliance, joining them in the battle.
With the help of Strike, Brook arrived in Chen's monastery with the rest of the Elemental Alliance, hiding behind barriers. After Strike's brief talk with the Anacondrai, the Elemental Alliance revealed themselves. Wu ordered Brook, Sono and Strike go inside the library and find the Sacred Flutes while they distracted the Anacondrai. After finding the broken flutes, the group rebuilt the flutes with the help of the scrolls. Unfortunately, they were spotted by Chen alongside with Clouse, who told them he only cares about the artifacts he collected. However, Brook told him that the real tale of the history is rebuilding, while also making a mech with her powers. Chen tried to fight back, only for Brook to overpower him and escape with the flutes alongside Sono. After Sono used the flute on the Anacondrai, Brook appreciated his skills, making the Master of Sound blush.
After the Elemental Alliance locked all of Serpentine to their tombs, Brook, Sono, Wu and Garmadon noticed that Strike was not hypnotized by the flutes. Strike explained that the reason why she was not controlled by the flutes is because of her connection to humans, as Brook, Garmadon and Wu watched Sono leading the Anacondrai outside with the flute.

- Brook is the only member of the Elemental Alliance who does not appear in flashbacks in the TV series and is instead first introduced in Strike of the Serpentine.
