First Spinjitzu Master's guardians

Overview

“Everyone on this ship is a descendant of an original Elemental Master.”
“Elemental Master? Who were they?”
“They were the First Spinjitzu Master's guardians, each endowed with an Elemental Power that has passed down through generations.”
Garmadon and Lloyd, "The Invitation"

The First Spinjitzu Master's guardians were the first generation of Elemental Masters. Receiving their respective elements from the First Spinjitzu Master himself, they protected their realms in their time. Many of their descendants would later participate in the Tournament of Elements,[6] and some later in the Tournament of the Sources.[7]

Trivia[]

  • It is unclear if the first master of Wind or the first successor to the Water master Nyad were guardians as well, due to the First Spinjitzu Master not having those elements.
    • It is also unknown whether the first Elemental Master of Energy was among the guardians, as while the First Spinjitzu Master had this element,[8] Energy is primarily associated with the title of the Green Ninja.
    • When Chris "Doc" Wyatt was asked if the First Spinjitzu Master was the first Master of Energy, he replied "Not exactly."[9]
  • This group's role as the guardians of the First Spinjitzu Master is similar to the original four ninja's role in training and protecting the Green Ninja although in this case, they did not train the First Master because he gave them their powers.
