Overview
Elway is an inhabitant of the Community of Lee who originates from Ninjago. He had his suspicions about Lee until the latter caught on to him and brainwashed him.

Background[]
Elway was one of the many citizens of Ninjago that was lost in the Merge. At one point in time, he was reassigned to the Land of Lee by the Administration under the mistaken belief that it was his home realm.
Between You and Lee[]
Elway watched Lee sing his song along with the other citizens of the Land of Lee. Elway also goes to a party about how thankful everyone is to be in the Land of Lee however Elway doesn’t look so happy. Elway leaves the party after Wyldfyre goes under the bar. Wyldfyre asks him if he is not impressed but he tells her it’s not her, he knows that she is different than everyone else there. She tries to tell him that she is like everyone else there but then she messes up and calls herself by her real name and not Filedwire. He tells her that he thinks she also finds it weird that everyone is just willing to party on and accept what Lee says. Wyldfyre tells him that she does indeed believe that it’s weird for everyone to just party. Elway then asks her to meet him later because he thinks that he has proof that what Lee says is a lie. Lloyd and Wyldfyre go to the house where Elway said to meet him but when they knock a Lee opens the door. Lee says that the previous tenant moved to Cavern 5 because he is a huge water slide fan.

Elway has been put in a cage in the Lee only section of the Land of Lee by Lee for wondering if what Lee says is actually true. Here he is being brainwashed by a giant tentacled monster. When Lee lets Elway out of his cage Elway has completely changed his mind about Lee and believes that Lee is a good and kind neighbor. He then goes out the door with Lee.
