“I realize now, if the world can't have you, it can still have awesomeness you put out into the world. It can have what Kai the Red Ninja means, even if it can't have the real you. And what I mean by that is – I'm gonna become the new Red Ninja and I'm gonna carry on your teachings and your bravery and your awesomeness.”
Wyldfyre (nicknamed Wyfy by Roby[1]) is the current Elemental Master of Heat, a ninja student, and Roby's girlfriend. She is a feral child raised by a tribe of Lava Dragons in the Lava Wastes. She came to the Wyldness via a mysterious crash landing, where she was raised by her Caregiver bot and Heatwave. Following the Merge, Wyldfyre assumed the role of the Elemental Master of Heat. When the Claws of Imperium managed to capture Heatwave, Wyldfyre ventured into Imperium, though she herself was later captured. With the help of Lloyd, she freed Heatwave and the rest of the dragons and later joined the ninja.
Appearance
Appearance[]
From "Mindless Beasts" to "Rising Ninja", Wyldfyre wore a celadon robe with maroon highlights over two shirts, one red and one orange, maroon pants, tan knee pads, and an orange cloth around her waist with both sides of her hips covered by a gray samurai armor's haidate, held together with a red rope tied around a bone. She had slightly unkempt shoulder-length red hair with parts of it tied into a bun by a crescent-shaped bone on her head and straight bangs with longer pieces framing her face. She has bushy eyebrows, a burn scar on her left cheek, and what appears to be a scar on her lower lip.
She gave the bone in her hair to the baby Lava Dragons.
From "The Shape of Motion" and onward, she wore her Tournament of Sources suit because she decided to take the mantle of the "red ninja." Her suit consisted of a sleeveless red kimono-inspired robe with celadon green accents, an orange undershirt and matching belt, red knee straps, and bronze colored armor on her chest and shoulders. She also added on black gloves and switched to a neatly combed half up half down hairstyle.
As a child, Wyldfyre's unkempt hair was similar, but only went down to jaw length, and her face had no scar. Her clothes were also similar, except her shirt had a patched up gray cloth around the lower right part, a cloth of the same color tied around the waist, a rope secured by itself, and sleeves that were short to expose her orange shirt that had patches on both sleeves and her pants.
As a baby, Wyldfyre was simply wrapped in a small celadon blanket.
Personality
Personality[]
Wyldfyre is hotheaded with a short temper and very limited patience bred from a life raised in the wild. She would rather fight than use her head, even when she has no chance of winning and the odds are severely against her. She's also unintentionally disrespectful as she insulted Kai upon meeting him and seeing him use his powers for the first time. She has no filter and usually says whatever comes to mind, no matter how it may come across. Despite her flaws, Wyldfyre is always willing to lay down her life and listen to reason if it means protecting Heatwave or her new found family. Before, the dragon was the only being she cared about until she met the ninja. She learned to appreciate and care for them and show particular affection for her mentor Kai. When he disappeared into Nether Space, she cried alongside Nya, indicating that she does have concern for him. Despite the loss of her mentor, she used this as an opportunity to get closer to other members of the team such as Nya. She shows empathy for others throughout the show, displaying that she can be caring despite being seemingly self-centered. She also enjoys playing pranks on others, often not realizing how hurtful or dangerous they can be.
Heat: As an Elemental Master of Heat, Wyldfyre can create and manipulate heat, which she can also manifest as blue flames. She mostly uses this ability in the form of fireballs, heat attacks, or fire walls. Initially, her power was thought to be Fire, since they share many similarities. While she initially had terrible precision, Wyldfyre managed to blast Sora and Kai's Wolf Masks off after training under Kai for a year.
Wyldfyre vs Wolf warriors
Combat: Although Wyldfyre had no formal training, she was taught to fight and defend herself by her dragon family, making her a formidable opponent. She gradually improved while being trained under Kai, managing to take on several Wolf warriors in "Shattered Dreams", and later in "Rising Ninja", where she managed to take out a large number of Wolf warriors, though she didn't have a mech, unlike Kai and Sora. Even when powerless, Wyldfyre managed to fight Chaos-empowered Wolf warriors.
Multilingualism: Having been raised by dragons, Wyldfyre can understand and communicate with them. She can also speak basic English, but has a limited vocabulary, and she learned how to understand the Devonian language from Zur.
Pilot/Driver skills: Although Wyldfyre had lived her younger years in the Wyldness raised by dragons, she learned piloting and driving skills, driving the Mech Storm Rider and her own mech very well. She also drove the Temple Bounty, albeit recklessly, which led to her fellow Ninja teammates often criticizing her driving. However, her driving skills improved over time while piloting the bounty.
Weapons[]
Dragon Hook: Wyldfyre used a Dragon Hook, channeling her elemental power to climb mountains.
Reveal Blade: Wyldfyre used Frak's Reveal Blade to battle Kur and the Specral Dragonians, before being defeated.
A long time ago, Heatwave rescued and raised a child who survived a plane crash. The baby's name was Wyldfire.
A team[]
Wyldfire, the Elemental Master of Heat, and her dragon Heatwave have been separated for a long time. After the Merge, Dragon Hunters captured and imprisoned him. With Lloyd's help, Wyldfire frees her dragon again.
Wyldfyre[]
Wyldfyre is known for her impatience and a quite fiery temper. Throw a broken leg and a serious case of FOMO into the mix and this fire-spewing Elemental master of heat is NOT so happy. Can the ninja trust that this wild warrior will do what she’s told and rest up?
Wyldfyre is a new Elemental Master of Heat. She was brought up by dragons so her personality is erratic, impulsive and fierce. Without thinking she will jump into battle to protect her family.
Half of her name, 'Wyld', comes from part of the name of the titular realm in which she grew up in, and the second half, 'fyre', shares the same spelling as Tygafyre, Tormak's bow.
She is the first and only ninja that has never worn a hood or bandanna.
She's the only ninja whose biological parents are unknown and were never shown.
She's the only ninja whose birth name is unknown, as her name was given to her by her dragon family.
She is the only ninja whose realm she was born from is unknown. In The New Heroes, it was said that she came from another planet. However, when Kevin Burke was questioned about this, he clarified that no one, not even Wyldfyre, knows her backstory. He emphasized that any information shared about her past is merely speculation.[7]
When she was a baby, Wyldfyre descended from the sky in a capsule, preserved in a Caregiver bot, until it crash landed in the Wyldness, where they meet Heatwave, who came to investigate the crash, a dragon whom Wyldfyre wasn't afraid of.
Wyldfyre wanting to touch fire
Throughout her childhood, despite many dragons in the Wyldness, Heatwave played a crucial role in nurturing Wyldfyre, while the Caregiver bot fulfilled its duty of ensuring her safety and serving as her educator, even teaching her the meaning of family, which Wyldfyre knew that was what Heatwave is to her. Growing up, the dragons told her stories about two dragon warriors, Egalt and Rontu, who traveled through the realms and protect anyone who cannot protect themselves. They said that Egalt was the bravest of all dragons, so they named the strongest and largest mountain, Mount Egalt, after him, but Wyldfyre just thought that they were just fairy tales.
One night while she and Heatwave were asleep, the Merge occurred, resulting in Wyldfyre acquiring the element of Heat. With the assistance of her Caregiver bot, she learned to harness and control her Elemental Powers. As the years went by, Wyldfyre started to play pranks on the Wyldness' inhabitants: the Lava-Tides, such as hiding rotten Wyldmelons around their village, crushing Lava-Tides with bricks, and defacing the statue of Lava-Todd the Wise. Throughout her childhood, she started to lose her dragon brethren to a disease called Wasting Sickness, which she begun to fear, believing Heatwave will get it. Then, one day, Heatwave was captured by the Claws of Imperium. In a desperate attempt to rescue him, Wyldfyre left the realm and traveled to Imperium, only to get captured some point after.
Wyldfyre attacks Lloyd, believing he is an Imperian responsible for capturing Heatwave, until he managed to save her from getting struck by some Imperium Guards. They work together to free Heatwave, Lloyd not understanding that Heatwave was Wyldfyre's family until she told him upon freeing the latter. They soon decide to free the rest of the captured dragons.
Wyldfyre, Lloyd, and the dragons were confronted by the Imperium Guards and instructed to return to their cells. Despite Lloyd's suggestion of a diplomatic approach, Wyldfyre refused to comply and challenged the Imperium Guards, leading to another fight. In an effort to provide an escape route, Lloyd announced the opening of the hatch at the Imperium Prison. Wyldfyre took charge and commanded the dragons to ascend with Heatwave leading the way. During their escape, Wyldfyre questioned their plans to escape from Imperium. Lloyd explained that he had previously entered Imperium through the sewers, but the dragons were too large, necessitating their exit through the main gates.
Lloyd was concern regarding the damage caused by the dragons in the streets and proposed organizing them into a formation to prevent further harm. But Wyldfyre disagreed, asserting that dragons should be free and prioritize escape. Lloyd emphasized the danger to innocent Imperians and deemed the situation too perilous. In response, Wyldfyre demonstrated her dangerous nature by using Heat to neutralize the Weapon Drones. As the dragons approached the main gates, they were met by the Claws of Imperium and Photac Beasts. Rapton presented two options between surrendering or fighting. Wyldfyre agreed with Rapton's preference for fighting and signaled the dragons to charge forward and engage in combat.
Wyldfyre continued to battle the Photacs alongside Lloyd and the dragons, even getting knocked off at one point before swiftly returning to battle. Later, Lloyd tells Wyldfyre to follow him, which she thought was that he planned to retreat, until he told her that they're going to attack the palace, which she agreed, and they all head for the palace.
Later, a strange monastery soon rose up, confusing her, and the entrance opened up, revealing Kai, Zane, and Nya.
When the Monastery of Imperium appeared, and Kai, Zane, and Nya assist in the battle, Wyldfyre was surprised by Kai's Fire abilities. When Lloyd gave the order to retreat into the monastery, Wyldfyre objected before complying to give Arin and Sora time to free Riyu. She then watched as Lloyd, powered by the Source Dragon of Energy, activated a portal for the dragons to the Monastery of Spinjitzu.
Shortly thereafter, Wyldfyre and Heatwave made the decision to relocate to the monastery alongside the ninja, taking up residence within the dragon stables nestled within the Mountains of Impossible Heights, alongside Heatwave. However, within the initial days of her arrival, Wyldfyre burnt Wu's meditation carpet.
While saving some citizens during a MergeQuake, they mistook her for Kai. Later, in the dragon stables, Wyldfyre plays around with Heatwave while lighting the torches, even refusing Lloyd's offer to have a bedroom and a proper bathroom. When Kai offered to train her on Lloyd's insistence, she retaliated by setting him on fire, later confronting him about it in the recreation room and they start to attack each other before Lloyd, Nya, Arin, Sora, and Riyu try to stop them from setting fire to the room until Zane managed to do so before accompanying him to the hangar bay, where she sat on a boulder while the others discuss heading to the Temple of the Dragon Cores.
Coming across the entrance with three levers and Zane started to study it, Wyldfyre spent the time sleeping on Heatwave, until she, Arin, and Sora soon realize all three levers must be pulled simultaneously. Entering the temple, Kai and Wyldfyre used their powers to blast open the doors, which brought out two ghosts, who start to attack them with Wyldfyre, despite Zane's warning, tried to use her power on it before getting what he meant, until Lloyd rearranged the altar, and had Kai and Wyldfyre light the candles, Wyldfyre melting the candle she lit in half.
Wyldfyre joined the ninja in the hangar bay as they planned their mission to find the Dragon Cores. Lloyd suggested splitting into three teams. Nya chose to team up with Sora and Riyu while Lloyd and Arin formed the second team, leaving Kai paired with Wyldfyre, who warned him to stay out of trouble, to search for the purple Dragon Core in the Wyldness. Wyldfyre suggested riding on Heatwave to search for the core. However, Kai raised a concern about where he would sit. Wyldfyre suggested that Kai would sit behind her, believing it to be the obvious choice. Kai protested, claiming that he's older. Wyldfyre countered by saying that it was precisely why sitting behind her was suitable, calling him an old person.
Following their departure, Wyldfyre and Kai sought respite within the Greenbone Warriors' forest. However, Wyldfyre surreptitiously pilfered the gems that rightfully belonged to the warriors, planning to disperse them throughout the forest as a prank. The Greenbone Warriors apprehended Wyldfyre and Kai, and promptly sentenced them to the Walls of Punishment, where their lives would be forfeit. Both Kai and Wyldfyre resorted to shifting blame onto one another.
As the Walls of Punishment loomed over them, Wyldfyre disappointed in the wall's lack of excitement. The Bone King demanded the return of their sacred gems, offering them a chance to escape, but Kai denied having them. Wyldfyre added that the gems were unattractive, making it unlikely for them to have stolen them. Growing impatient, the Bone King threatened to let the walls crush them if they didn't comply. Unafraid, Wyldfyre taunted the Bone King with a skeleton joke. Fed up with their defiance, the Bone King reactivated the lever, causing the walls to close in on them. Kai noticed a pattern in the flying arrows and asked Wyldfyre if she had noticed it too. Confidently, she confirmed that she had spotted it long before him and used her skills to escape the pit. With Kai's assistance, they successfully escaped. As the Greenbone Warriors prepared to end them, Wyldfyre chose to cooperate and give up the gems, much to Kai and the Bone King's annoyance. The Bone King agreed to spare them on the condition that they never return. Wyldfyre pretended to agree and offered a handshake, but instead tricked the Bone King by burning his hand. They swiftly escaped on Heatwave, leaving the furious Greenbone Warriors behind. Wyldfyre couldn't contain her laughter after pulling the prank on the Bone King, while Kai advised her to take her Elemental Powers more seriously. In response, Wyldfyre mocked Kai for being boring, but Kai remained determined to retrieve the purple Dragon Core to save the world. Wyldfyre agreed that saving the world was of utmost importance, but she humorously pointed out that if the world was destroyed, there would be no one left for her to play pranks on. When Kai mentioned the Lava-Tides, Wyldfyre proudly declared that they were her friends and that they adored her.
Wyldfyre and Kai arrived at a village to retrieve the Dragon Core. However, the Lava-Tides resisted their demand because of Wyldfyre. Wyldfyre believed that the Lava-Tides were obsessed with her, but the Lava-Tides revealed that her pranks had actually caused them harm. The Lava-Tide Leader rejected Wyldfyre's claim of being a hero due to her past crimes. Kai proposed a solution that if Wyldfyre could prove that she had changed, the Lava-Tides might consider giving them the Dragon Core. Kai and Wyldfyre set out to fix the mess caused by Wyldfyre. They started by collecting all the scattered Wyldmelons and then proceeded to clean the statue of Lava-Todd the Wise. While Wyldfyre reminisced about her past enjoyment of dressing up statues, Kai reminded her that it was important to consider the feelings of others. He explained that if the pranks were not enjoyed by everyone, it could be seen as bullying. Wyldfyre brushed off the lack of appreciation from the Lava-Tides, but Kai stressed that their main objective was to obtain the core, and continuing with pranks would hinder their progress. Kai urged Wyldfyre to refrain from further pranks, as people were relying on them. Reluctantly, Wyldfyre agreed to stop pranking for the time being. The Lava-Tide Leader was surprised as she witnessed Wyldfyre's genuine efforts to make amends. Sensing an opportunity to boast, Wyldfyre confidently stated that Kai had performed adequately, although not exceptionally, under her leadership. The Lava-Tide Leader humbly extended her hand in friendship, suggesting a handshake as a symbol of reconciliation. Initially, Wyldfyre had intentions to prank the leader with the fire handshake, but ultimately decided against it. As the two shook hands, the Lava-Tide Leader suddenly revealed that the entire interaction had been a prank and swiftly threw the Dragon Core back into the Pit of No Return. The Lava-Tide Leader labeled Wyldfyre as a bully who would never change, but still was grateful for the cleanup efforts in their village as she and the other Lava-Tides departed. Wyldfyre, feeling a sense of disappointment reluctantly admitted that it had indeed been a well-executed prank.
With the Dragon Core thrown into the Pit of No Return, Wyldfyre admits that they gave it a try, but it seems like they've hit another dead end. She starts to walk away, prompting Kai to inquire about her destination, reminding her of the importance of finding the Dragon Core. Wyldfyre explains to Kai that the pit is known as the "Pit of No Return" for a reason. She emphasizes her preference for returning from her experiences. Kai voiced his concern and insists that they cannot simply walk away from this mission. In response, Wyldfyre confidently asserts that she can indeed walk away, demonstrating her determination to prioritize her own safety. She assures Kai that she will inform everyone about his death if it were to happen. Kai acknowledges that he may not survive the ordeal unless he has someone to guide him. Seizing the opportunity, Wyldfyre agreeed to lead Kai into the pit, acknowledging that her leadership is his only hope for success. Despite Kai's emphasis on the importance of caution as they descended into the pit together, Wyldfyre disregard his advice. However, Wyldfyre's attention was immediately captivated by a pile of Wyldmelons, with the Dragon Core resting on top of it. As they retrieved the Dragon Core, Wyldfyre couldn't help but question the reasoning behind the pit being named the Pit of No Return. Suddenly, a swarm of death wasps emerged from the Wyldmelons. Wyldfyre and Kai swiftly escaped from the death wasps, managing to close the Pit of No Return behind them. They celebrated their escape. However, their joy was short-lived as Dorama and his stagehands arrived, taking possession of the Dragon Core.
While in an attempt to get the Dragon Core, the Lava-Tide Leader had launched flaming boulders, to her excitement. Later, Wyldfyre inadvertently makes the leader grow big. Upon grabbing the core and making their escape, Wyldfyre discovers Heatwave has been injured.
While trying to tend to Heatwave, Kai suddenly takes off and Wyldfyre follows him before watching him smash some rocks, which she believed was a waste of time, until she discovered he was looking for geodes. After getting enough, Kai and Wyldfyre melt the geode crystals to apply to Heatwave's wound, which Wyldfyre believed won't work, until the wound cooled down, to her surprise.
While waiting for the melted crystal to heal Heatwave, an impatient Wyldfyre, on Kai's insistence, learnt to be patient by practicing forms alongside him, until Heatwave was better and was surprised when he licked her from behind. As they were about to return, they discover the core they obtained was a fake, as Dorama had the real one. Upon relaying the news to Lloyd, Zane, and Arin, they make their way to Imperium, where they are soon knocked down by an explosion's shockwave.
While surveying how to enter Imperium, Wyldfyre is told by Kai to attract some guards, which worked as some arrive on hoverboards before the other ninja knock them out while she balanced a staff in her hand before being told to stop by Kai, later accompanying him on a hoverboard as they soon enter the city. When their attempt to infiltrate Imperium, Wyldfyre and the other ninja get ambushed, only to be taken down by the Imperium Teen Resistance Force, disappointing her as she wanted to fight them.
Wyldfyre follows Percival's resistance, loudly humming a spy tune, until Kai taught her properly before encountering Beatrix in her mech. After making a plan to expose Beatrix's lies, Kai and Wyldfyre decide to destroy the armory as a diversion. However, the place they destroyed was a shoulder pad storage facility, because Kai gave her the map, which she had upside-down. Briefly educated on the difference between rivers and power lines, Wyldfyre discovers Arin, Sora, and Percival successfully uplinked the footage that exposed Beatrix's lies. Eventually finding the armory, they set fire to it and casually walk away from it.
Wyldfyre joined the others in facing Beatrix, who uses her MergeQuake weapon to send the former into a rift. After Lloyd stabilized the world, Kai, Wyldfyre, and Riyu were returned before Wyldfyre immediately embraced her mentor. Sometime later, Wyldfyre and Kai engaged in a friendly competition to determine who could successfully hit the maximum number of soda cans. Employing her Heat power, Wyldfyre skillfully melted her cans, while Kai relied on his precision. Curious about the concept of precision, Wyldfyre inquired, prompting Kai to explain that it involved honing one's skills through practice, leading to further improvement. As they observed the aftermath of their efforts, they noticed a stark contrast between their respective cans. The observation led them to realize that Wyldfyre's Elemental Power isn't Fire as her cans were melted. Shortly after, Wyldfyre had one of Arin's Snowberry Pies for their victory.
NinjaFanInfinity and SpinjitzuForDays99 film Wyldfyre, who stands on top of Riyu as she attempts to get a cat out of a tree, only for it to jump and latch onto her, making Wyldfyre fall off of Riyu while trying to get the cat off.
Later, Wyldfyre joined in on dancing among many citizens, Arin, Sora, and Riyu after Sora turned Lobbo's mech into a DJ set.
Wyldfyre, sporting a bandage for her injured leg, is woken up from her slumber by Kai, who tells her he is going on a quest and wants her to stay behind and heal, but she opposes it. She managed to stowaway on the Destiny's Bounty, where she blew her cover by sneezing before Sora helped her out. Kai intended to have her returned to the monastery, but by then, they were at their location: Phantasm Cave.
Arin's attempts to reason with the dragon proved futile, leading Wyldfyre to believe that her ability to speak dragon would be more effective. However, even with her communication skills, the dragon continued its aggressive behavior. While the rest of the ninja engaged in distracting the dragon, Lloyd discovered a solution to unlock the gate. By strategically placing boulders in a nearby bucket, they were able to activate a chain mechanism that gradually lowered the gate. With Riyu's assistance, Wyldfyre successfully placed the first boulder in the bucket, marking the beginning of their progress. As the other ninja joined in and placed the remaining boulders, the gate swung open fully. Wyldfyre and the group advanced, only to encounter another dragon emerging from behind the gate. Without hesitation, the ninja prepared for another battle. However, to their surprise, the dragons unexpectedly bowed down. Curious about this change in behavior, Kai turned to Wyldfyre, the resident dragon expert, and inquired about dragons attacking people and then suddenly being friendly. Wyldfyre confirmed that dragons would only be friendly if the people they attacked fell off a cliff. The second dragon, impressed by the ninja's success in passing all three tests, congratulated them by giving a high five with her tail, which both Wyldfyre and Riyu gladly accepted. As the conversation shifted towards the teacher the ninja were searching for, the two dragons revealed themselves as Egalt and Rontu, the very teachers they sought.
Wyldfyre attentively listened as Lloyd explained to the Dragon Masters about Ras rediscovering the Wolf Clan and Shatterspin, and his plan to free the Forbidden Five. The Dragon Masters then revealed themselves as the ones who had defeated and banished the Forbidden Five in the past, erasing them from memory. Egalt expressed confidence that the Forbidden Five could never return, until Lloyd brought up the Ritual of the Blood Moon. The Dragon Masters began deliberating with each other in their dragon language, causing Wyldfyre to speculate that they were discussing the end of the world. Sora, however, assumed that Wyldfyre was joking, to which Wyldfyre firmly stated that she was not. Lloyd emphasized that with the Dragon Masters fighting alongside the ninja, the Wolf Clan stood no chance. Egalt and Rontu, on the other hand, claimed that they were too old to fight with the ninja. Despite this, Rontu suggested that they could train the ninja to learn the Rising Dragon. Egalt questioned Rontu's decision, arguing that the ninja were weak. Wyldfyre challenged Egalt's assertion of the ninja's weakness, before she slipped off but was promptly caught by Kai and Nya. Following a brief argument with Rontu, Egalt reluctantly agreed to train the ninja, setting the start of their training for the next day. He reminded them that while they had received good training, they had only just begun to scratch the surface of what they needed to learn.
Before Kai was able to release the Writers of Destiny from their restraints by melting them, a Wolf Mask Warrior rang the Gong of Shattering, causing Wyldfyre, Kai, and Sora to briefly succumb to corruption from their Wolf Masks. The trio of ninja struggled to remove their masks, with Wyldfyre using Heat to remove hers. She vocalized her disdain for the masks, proceeding to assist Kai and Sora in removing theirs by using her Heat abilities. Unfortunately, Wyldfyre accidentally ignited Kai's hair in the process, drawing the attention of the Wolf Clan towards them. In an attempt to combat the Wolf Clan, Kai endeavored to synchronize his internal movements with the universe to execute the Rising Dragon technique. However, Wyldfyre disagreed with his approach, pointing out that Kai was not moving at all. Kai confessed that he had only successfully performed the Rising Dragon technique once before, unintentionally, and was uncertain if he could replicate it. Consequently, Wyldfyre and Kai found themselves engaged in battle against the Wolf Mask Claw Warriors, while Sora intervened to prevent Cinder from executing Shatterspin by ensnaring him in a cage. Following the skirmish, Wyldfyre took it upon herself to liberate the Writers of Destiny from their shackles, asserting that they owed her their gratitude. Despite Euphrasia's willingness to join the fray, Wyldfyre insisted that she and the others were being sacrificed, emphasizing the need to distance themselves from Ras. Resuming her fight against the Wolf Mask Claw Warriors to protect the Cloud Monks, Wyldfyre found herself at a disadvantage as the Wolf Clan gained the upper hand, resulting in Kai being incapacitated by an enemy strike. In a show of solidarity, Wyldfyre declared that if they were to fall, they would do so together like dragons.
Fortunately, the other ninja arrived just in time. Cinder managed to escape from his cell. The ninja desperately tried to prevent Cinder from obtaining his Wolf Mask, and in a desperate move, Wyldfyre set the mask ablaze. However, Cinder managed to acquire a new mask from a Wolf Mask Claw Warrior, granting him the ability to unleash Shatterspin. Despite Wyldfyre's urgent plea to stop Cinder, Nya expressed that they were unable to do so. Cinder gained the upper hand and effortlessly defeated Wyldfyre and the other ninja. Kai utilized Rising Dragon technique to halt Cinder's progress. Unfortunately, Ras intervened and forcefully pushed Kai into a portal, freeing Nokt, much to the dismay of Wyldfyre and the rest of the ninja. Nokt utilized Shatterspin to push back Wyldfyre and the other ninja, with the exception of Nya. Despite Nya's attempt at Rising Dragon, Nokt was able to overpower her. Ras intended to sacrifice Nya to the remaining members of the Forbidden Five. However, Arin stepped in and used Object Spinjitzu to disrupt Ras' plans. He threw a hand from the Elemental Fire Mech towards Ras, feeling a surge of pride as he successfully executed the move. Little did Arin know, it was actually Sora who had used her Elemental Powers on the hand, as Arin's attempt at Object Spinjitzu had failed. Before Wyldfyre could point that out, Sora silenced her, preventing any further discussion. With the defeat of the Wolf Clan, they vanished into thin air, along with the Shadow Dojo. Wyldfyre and the rest of the ninja returned to the Cloud Kingdom, where they were greeted with gratitude by Suetonius. However, the team was still mourning the loss of Kai, and this weighed heavily on Wyldfyre and Nya in particular. In the midst of their grief, Wyldfyre and Sora witnessed Lloyd praising Arin for his supposed attempt at Object Spinjitzu and saving the day. Knowing the truth, both Wyldfyre and Sora agreed to keep it a secret, not wanting to burden Arin with the knowledge of Sora's intervention.
Wyldfyre vented her anger by unleashing her Elemental Powers to demolish wooden crates, leading Lloyd to comprehend her frustration regarding Kai's confinement in the Nether-Space. Although she recognized the destructive consequences of her rage on the monastery, Wyldfyre refused to accept any accountability before departing. Later, she confided in Heatwave, expressing her belief that Kai was the only ninja who genuinely understood her, and she voiced her uncertainty about her place on the team in his absence. She dismissed Lloyd's remark about her emotional state, claiming to feel nothing, not even tiredness, as she dozed off on Heatwave's back. Upon awakening, Wyldfyre discovered Heatwave carrying her and realized they were returning to the Lava Wastes, concluding that it would be advantageous to escape her usual concerns.
Upon reaching the Wyldness, Wyldfyre discovered that Heatwave had brought her to the Dragon Tribe Celebration, which greatly upset her as she had been seeking solitude. In her frustration, Wyldfyre retreated to a cave and released a burst of Heat. This led to the hatching of three baby Lava Dragons - Red, Sparky, and Feisty. The young dragons quickly scattered, with one of them even venturing onto a tightrope. Despite Wyldfyre's efforts to call the dragon back, it refused to listen, prompting her to brave the tightrope herself. Although she nearly lost her balance, she managed to retrieve the dragon. She then rescued the second dragon from being ensnared in a bubble. As she rushed to save the third dragon, she discovered that it was being threatened by the Cave Snake. Wyldfyre swung across and successfully rescued the dragon. The baby dragons began to lick Wyldfyre, much to her chagrin.
Wyldfyre was at the Monastery of Spinjitzu, honing her abilities by engaging in a game of Boulder Golf. As she practiced, she inadvertently startled Lloyd and Nya, who were nearby. However, Sora brought urgent news regarding the Matriarch of the Mountain Dragons. Prompted by this revelation, the trio made their way to the Kingdom of Madness, where Sora revealed that an attack had occurred against the Matriarch, resulting in the theft of her Crown of Horns. Wyldfyre and Heatwave presented themselves to the Matriarch as representatives of the Fire Dragon tribe, asserting their intention to assist. Wyldfyre emphasized the urgency of helping before departing to lend a hand. However, she soon observed the Matriarch striking her tail against the ground while issuing a grave warning to Lloyd and entrusted him with a map. Tragically, she succumbed to her wounds shortly after, leaving Wyldfyre in mourning alongside the other dragons. Lloyd disclosed that the Matriarch had forewarned of potential peril facing the Source Dragons.
In that moment, a faint cry caught their attention, leading them to discover a baby dragon nestled within one of the Matriarch's nursing pouches. Wyldfyre quickly realized that the infant was the Matriarch's daughter, prompting the group to decide that they must return her to her rightful herd. Riyu then drew an arrow, which left the others confused until Arin remembered Riyu's unique talent for tracking the Mountain Dragons. Lloyd was doubtful about Riyu's knowledge of the Mountain Dragons' location, but Wyldfyre noted that the other dragons seemed confident, asserting that their instincts surpassed those of humans. With that, Wyldfyre and Nya mounted Heatwave and set off in the direction indicated by Riyu. As they journeyed, they encountered an unexpected attack from Rapton and the Claw Hunters, who had changed their name to the Freebooters following the Liberation of Imperium. In the midst of the battle, Wyldfyre used Heat against the Claw Hunters. With the assistance of the Mountain Dragons, the ninja successfully overcame the Freebooters. After the conflict, they were guided to a World Tree nestled within the World Forest, where Wyldfyre came to understand that this was their new home. Subsequently, the ninja returned the Matriarch's daughter to her tribe.
Upon returning to the monastery, the Source Dragon of Motion approached Wyldfyre and the other ninja with urgent news. She revealed that the same people who were responsible for the Matriarch's death had also murdered two other Arc Dragons, raising the alarming possibility that the Source Dragons themselves could be next. Wyldfyre acknowledged the immense power of the Source Dragon of Motion, but the latter elaborated on the grave threats facing her kind. She explained that not only had the Source Dragon of Energy been captured prior to the Merge, but the Source Dragon of Balance had also been killed. The Motion Source Dragon warned that if her kind were to perish, the Merged Realms would be destroyed. To avert this catastrophe, she tasked the ninja with uncovering the identity of the Arc Dragons' killer. Wyldfyre proposed that the Source Dragon of Motion use her abilities to locate the murderer, but the Source Dragon clarified that their powers do not function that way. She noted that the other Source Dragons remain oblivious to the looming dangers. Meanwhile, Lloyd mentioned a map given to him by the Matriarch, which led to the City of Temples. In light of this information, the Source Dragon of Motion assigned Wyldfyre and the ninja the mission of participating in the Tournament of the Sources to track down the hidden enemy.
Wyldfyre and the rest of the group reunited with Arin and Riyu, meeting Frak, Arin's best friend before the Merge, for the first time. Once Frak left to focus on his training, Bleckt and Roby took the ninja on a tour of the city, primarily showcasing Foundation Street. Roby was particularly keen on updating their methods and rallied the ninja with the promise of revealing something remarkable within the city, which sparked excitement in Wyldfyre. They stopped in front of a wall featuring a seven-headed dragon, an artistic tribute to the Source Dragons. Wyldfyre shared in the excitement, and Roby praised her intelligence, calling her the brightest among the ninja. With a playful jab, Roby compared the age of the artwork to Bleckt's own years, prompting laughter from Wyldfyre. He elaborated on how all Elemental Powers originate from the Source Dragons, explaining that the Tournament of the Sources was created long ago to honor them and Elemental Powers. After Roby detailed the significance of the Elemental Cup, the group encountered Zant-Tanz, who revealed himself as the Elemental Master of Plants. Roby then mentioned that there would be a banquet later that evening for the Elemental Masters and their guests.
At night, Wyldfyre and the ninja made their way to the welcome banquet, where they spotted the Elemental Masters mingling with other attendees. Roby handed Wyldfyre a menu, but she quickly tossed it aside after glancing at it. Meanwhile, the ninja ran into members of the Wolf Clan, mainly Nokt, Jordana, and Cinder. Cinder took the opportunity to mock Wyldfyre about Kai's absence, which triggered an aggressive response from her, but a Security Bot intervened to prevent any escalation. Roby informed everyone of the strict no-fighting policy outside the arena and advised Wyldfyre to concentrate on the upcoming competitions instead. Nya supported Roby's advice, urging Wyldfyre to control her temper and assuring her that she would soon have her chance in the games. Reluctantly, Wyldfyre agreed to keep her cool. Just as Roby was about to start his speech, Wyldfyre noticed Zeatrix entering the hall. Zeatrix expressed her disdain for the ninja, blaming them for taking away her opportunity to get revenge on Beatrix. Wyldfyre was taken aback to see Ras at the banquet as well, but Nya quickly intervened, preventing her from getting involved in the situation.
Wyldfyre chose to remain at the banquet, enjoying her meal while the ninja retreated to their quarters, pondering who might have attacked the Matriarch. When she joined them, Wyldfyre confidently asserted that the identity of the true dragon killer was clear. Arin and Sora quickly proposed that either Ras or Zeatrix could be the culprit, but Wyldfyre firmly maintained that it was Bleckt. She highlighted Bleckt's jealousy towards Roby as a potential motive for his actions. Zane chimed in, stressing the importance of gathering more information before making any hasty judgments. Lloyd supported this idea, reminding everyone to get some rest since the games were set to begin the following day. That night, Wyldfyre settled down to sleep beside Riyu, using his wing as a blanket. In the middle of the night, a shadowy figure broke into the ninja's quarters, intent on eliminating them. Just then, Riyu emitted a roar after he woke up. The loud noise disrupted the sleep of Wyldfyre and the other ninja. Seeing the intruder, Wyldfyre used her Elemental Powers to mock the intruder, warning them that sneaking into a room filled with ninja was a foolish move. The ninja encircled the intruder with their combined abilities, but the intruder manages to leap away just in time, causing their powers to clash and sending everyone sprawling to the floor. Taking advantage of the chaos, the intruder made a swift escape, with the ninja in pursuit.
When Lloyd apprehended the intruder, Wyldfyre and the rest of the ninja joined him, along with the others who had gathered. They discovered that the intruder was actually a robot, and two additional robots had been dispatched to target Ras and Zur, but they had not succeeded. Tox examined the weapon used by the bot and recognized it as a thorn from the Sevateam plant, which is exclusively found in the Mother Garden. Roby elaborated that any removal of specimens from the garden required permission from Zant-Tanz. Zant-Tanz confirmed Tox's information regarding the Gelba thorns but firmly stated that he had no involvement in the incident. Despite his denial, the group remained suspicious, as the evidence seemed to implicate him in sending the attacker bots. In an attempt to ease the tension, Zant-Tanz offered to leave voluntarily, suggesting that it might restore peace among them. He cautioned, however, that the real mastermind behind the robot attacks was still lurking among them. Roby encouraged everyone to take some time to rest in preparation for the upcoming competitions. As the crowd started to disperse, Wyldfyre spoke to Arin and Sora.
After the attacker bots attack, Wyldfyre walked back to the ninja quarters when Nya ran to Lloyd about seeing Jay at the Games Plaza.
The next morning Wyldfyre was exploring the City, looking for Roby. She ran into Riyu, Arin, and Frak who were catching up. Wyldfyre claim she was doing mental exercise on her own. She then saw Roby arguing with Bleckt about having order in the Tournament. Wyldfyre went up to them and said hi to Roby while claiming she was just wandering in the plaza randomly. Roby had invited her to come with him and Bleckt to the Game Plaza, which she accepted.
Although they won Wyldfyre felt empty due to loosing Jay.
At the first game, Wyldfyre was once again trying to catch Roby's attention, but she ended up colliding with Cinder, who bumped into her on purpose, igniting Wyldfyre's frustration. Cinder took the opportunity to taunt her, but Roby stepped in to separate the two before things escalated. Meanwhile, Lloyd and Nya pulled Wyldfyre back to rejoin the group, with Lloyd reminding everyone that the fate of the Merged Realms rested on their shoulders. Wyldfyre suggested they should unleash the Rising Dragon to secure a win, but Lloyd countered that they needed to fight with honor. When Roby announced Zane and Zur as the first competitors, Wyldfyre cheered Zane on, urging him not to lose. Unfortunately, when Zane ended up losing, Sora remarked that Zane's ice melted quicker than expected. Wyldfyre felt vindicated in her belief that they should have used Rising Dragon, but Zane insisted that it wasn't the ninja way to resort to excessive force to fight unfairly. Moments later, Wyldfyre and the other ninja were left in disbelief when they spotted Jay with the Wolf Clan. As Jay performed Shatterspin, Nya responded with Rising Dragon, which Wyldfyre remarked about its necessity again. After Nya won her match, Wyldfyre celebrated alongside Arin and Sora, but their happiness was short-lived when Lloyd explained that Jay had turned to the side of evil. Wyldfyre was left stunned by the news, especially at the sight of Jay rejecting Nya.
Wyldfyre was analyzing her adversaries using one of the Temple City phones, all the while attentively listening to Lloyd's speech aimed at securing victory in the tournament and thwarting Ras along with the Arc Dragon hunters.
Subsequently, Wyldfyre arrived at the Games Plaza with the other ninja, where Sora was competed in a match against Kizzy in a challenging high-wire obstacle course. The objective was to reach the finish line and strike the kettle drum, a task that Sora accomplished successfully, securing victory. Wyldfyre and the other ninja celebrated Sora's triumph. As the competition progressed, Roby announced that Wyldfyre would face off against Cinder in a game of Capture the Flag. Wyldfyre took great satisfaction in the opportunity to seek revenge on Cinder for Kai's sake. However, Lloyd cautioned her to maintain her focus on the flag rather than personal vendettas. Dismissing Lloyd's advice, Wyldfyre concentrated on the prospect of defeating Cinder. Wyldfyre established a fire barrier encircling Cinder; however, Ras sound the Gong of Shattering, which enabled Cinder to perform Shatterspin. Using this technique along with Smoke, Cinder launched an offensive against Wyldfyre, ultimately overcoming her and seizing the flag, thereby securing victory in the round. Following the confrontation, Roby inquired about Wyldfyre's well-being, to which she responded affirmatively, echoing Roby's signature phrase. Despite his reluctance, Roby proceeded to transfer Wyldfyre's powers to Cinder, which left Wyldfyre visibly disheartened.
At ninja, Wyldfyre and the ninja were making their way back to their quarters when an unexpected scent caught Wyldfyre's attention. It was Cinder, who taunted Wyldfyre by asserting that victory was impossible for her, especially since she had been trained by Kai. In a moment of impulsive aggression, Wyldfyre attempted to unleash her Heat powers against Cinder, only to realize that her abilities had been stripped away. Cinder seized the opportunity to ridicule Wyldfyre for her blunder, then demonstrated his own prowess by launching a blast of Heat into the sky, which triggered the alert of the Security Bots. Undeterred, Wyldfyre insisted that dragons could fight without fire, attempting to strike Cinder, who feigned injury, leaving Wyldfyre bewildered. When Roby and Bleckt arrived, they misinterpreted the situation, believing Wyldfyre was attacking Cinder. The ninja soon discovered that the confrontation was a ploy orchestrated by Ras to have them expelled from the City. Wyldfyre tried to clarify everything to Roby, but Bleckt remained adamant about their expulsion. Zane called upon the Cavern Run, granting the ninja immunity from exile if they win, and Roby announced that the race would commence shortly.
Wyldfyre accompanied Zane, Arin, and Geo in the subterranean caverns beneath the City of Temples, where they awaited the arrival of the others along with their vehicle for the race. Cinder mocked them for not having a vehicle at that moment, but soon after, the remaining members of the ninja arrived with the Ninja Team Combo Vehicle. In response to Cinder's earlier taunt, Wyldfyre urged him to reiterate his question. Ultimately, Wyldfyre chose to remain behind to watch the race.
Wyldfyre stood alongside the other ninja and Geo, keeping an eye on Lloyd as they awaited the arrival of Roby, Bleckt, and a bound Zeatrix, who were there to transfer Zeatrix's powers to Lloyd. Upon discovering that Zeatrix had been banished from the City of Temples as punishment for her attack on Lloyd, Wyldfyre proposed an even harsher consequence. Zeatrix explained that her actions stemmed from rage and a desperate need to prove herself. This only fueled Wyldfyre's disgust, as she asserted that a true apology requires sincerity. Wyldfyre suggested that a fitting punishment would be to tie Zeatrix to a tree, far from any Wyldmelons, or to subject her to songs she despised for eternity. This incited Zeatrix to lash out, but Roby intervened, stripping her of her powers before they departed. Shortly thereafter, Arin pulled Wyldfyre aside to discuss Roby's cufflinks, which Wyldfyre had admired. Arin revealed that the cufflinks bore the same symbol as the one linked to the individual who had sent the attacker bots. Wyldfyre was incredulous, defending Roby by recalling how he had saved her, then quickly amended her statement to include that he had saved them all. She speculated that either Zeatrix or Ras could be responsible for the attacks. Despite Arin's insistence that Roby was the most likely suspect, Wyldfyre rejected this notion, determined to accompany him to prove Roby's innocence. She also displayed confusion when Arin declined Sora's offer of help as they made their exit.
Wyldfyre and Arin head to Roby and Bleckt's office where they found the door locked. Arin found it suspicious but Wyldfyre said that normal people lock their doors for various reasons, she knows that even though she was raised by dragons. During Sora's match, Arin has Wyldfyre be the lookout and when she spots Bleck and Roby she warns Arin they try to act natural with Wyldfyre admitting her crush on Roby in the process. Wyldfyre then asks about the cufflinks which Roby said that Bleckt wanted him to wear them for his first game just like Roby's father did. As the two went into their office, Wyldfyre told Arin that Roby got those cufflinks before the first game the morning after the bot attacked. As Roby left Bleckt criticizes them for not supporting their teammates which the two notice Bleckt's cane has the same symbol as Roby's cufflinks. After Bleckt left, the two manage to sneak in and Wyldfyre unknowably activates a passageway to a secret room when she picks up a rotary phone. They enter the room to see pictures of Roby with scribbles on his face, much to Wyldfyre's horror. Wyldfyre notices a calendar with the words "meet with Ras" noted on the day before the tournament.
After leaving the office, Wyldfyre returned to the Ninja quarters and later attended Lloyd's match with Nokt. Wyldfyre looked down as Roby looked at her and declared the Tournament must still go on. But due to Lloyd still being injured he was unable to attend until he did which shocked everyone.
To obtain Bleckt's ledger, Wyldfyre devised a plan by dropping a brick on Bleckt and then pretending to save him from it, all the while switching the ledger with the menu from the banquet. Wyldfyre accused the situation of being a mere coincidence before making an exit. However, upon inspection, she realized that the ledger was written in a language she did not recognize. Wyldfyre's path crossed with Zur, who identified the language as Devonian. Wyldfyre was taken aback by Zur's ability to speak and his kind demeanor. Zur went on to explain the intricacies of his culture and appearance, and kindly offered to assist Wyldfyre by translating the contents of the ledger.
As Wyldfyre and Zur delved deeper into the ledger, they uncovered revelations about Bleckt's involvement in rigging the games for the Wolf Clan, as well as orchestrating the failed assassination attempt on the ninja and Zur using attacker bots. Determined to expose Bleckt's treachery, Wyldfyre and Zur rushed to the Games Plaza to reveal the truth to everyone just as Nokt was on the verge of being crowned Champion of the Sources. The ceremony was abruptly halted by Roby upon hearing the accusations, but Nokt retaliated and stole the Elemental Powers stored within the Elemental Cup. Despite Wyldfyre and Zur's attempts to intervene, Nokt pushed them back and, along with Rox who had taken possession of Jordana's body, unveiled their plan to release the Forbidden Five. They then commanded Cinder and the Wolf Mask Warriors to launch an attack.
At the Crossroads, Wyldfyre joined Kai and Nya, inquiring with the nearby civilians about any updates on Jay's whereabouts. Nya voiced her frustration and disbelief over their current predicament, while Wyldfyre, burdened by the futility of their search, pondered what more they could possibly do, remarking on Jay's uncanny ability to disappear even more effectively than Mr. Pale. Suddenly, Kai had a breakthrough idea: rather than continuing their fruitless search, they should find a way to attract Jay back to them. He pointed out the upcoming grand opening of Lobbo's Totally Rad Arcade, Lobbo-Lobbo, recalling a game that Jay had always enjoyed, Galamorph X-Post. Kai revealed that he had been practicing on an emulator, and he was confident that if he could beat Jay's long-standing high score, it would be enough to draw Jay back, no matter what state he was in. Wyldfyre, however, was less than impressed by the idea of video games, expressing her disdain for their complexity, as her own gaming experiences had always revolved around educational themes. In response, Kai assured her that things were about to change.
Heatwave has been a father figure to Wyldfyre ever since she was a baby. When he was captured by the Claws of Imperium, she made it her mission to rescue him as he was her family and they had been together ever since. When she lost most of her dragon family to the Wasting Sickness, Wyldfyre feared that Heatwave might get it.
Her caregiver bot has always been by Wyldfyre's side during her time growing up in the Wyldness to help Heatwave raise her, educate her, and help her control her newly discovered Elemental Power. When Wyldfyre went to rescue Heatwave, the caregiver bot tried to stop her, but found it futile.
Roby is Wyldfyre's boyfriend. They first met during the Tournament of the Sources, where Wyldfyre was immediately smitten by him, often following him around. He calls Wyldfyre dragon idiom cute and winks at her. In "They Gather for the Feast", as Bleckt gives the ninja a tour of the City of Temples, Roby mocks the way he talks which Wyldfyre giggles at. Roby shows them a seven-headed dragon wall carving. Wyldfyre agrees with Roby that the display looks really cool. Roby winks at Wyldfyre and she giggles. He makes a joke about the wall the being nearly as old as Bleckt and Wyldfyre laughs loudly. During the banquet, Cinder teases Wyldfyre asking where the other Red Ninja is. Wyldfyre wants to fight him, however Roby stops the fight from happening. He loves the energy Wyldfyre is showing, but he tells her to save her powers for when the games begins the next day. After the banquet, the ninja would gather in their room. Their main goal there was to investigate who was the one that killed the Matriach dragon. They have several suspects in mind, Wyldfyre thinks that Bleckt is the one behind the death because of the way he treats whom she calls “the amazing Roby”.
In "Inside the Maze", Wyldfyre wanders around the city to search for Roby, but pretends she isn't doing so when she encounters him. She excitedly tells him that she can't wait to make the tournament a success and Roby thanks her. He invites her to check out the game plaza together with his Uncle Bleckt, which Wyldfyre immediately accepts.
In "United We Fall", Wyldfyre's opponent in the Tournament is the Elemental Master of Smoke, Cinder. Unfortunately, she lost to him in the round. Roby asked if she was okay and Wyldfyre says she's totally "stang-zoot", using the word Roby came up himself earlier before the games began. He says Wyldfyre's curtain of fire strategy amazing and he apologizes that he has to transfer her powers to Cinder.
In "Clues and Suspects", Arin tells Wyldfyre that he suspects Roby is the one behind the attacker bots attack before the tournament began that night, due to the symbol on Roby’s cufflinks looking like a clue Arin found. Wyldfyre doesn’t believe him because earlier Roby just saved the ninja from being kicked by Zeatrix by stopping them from fighting. However, she decides to join Arin in his investigation and prove Roby’s innocence. As Arin and Wyldfyre attempt to get inside Roby’s office, Roby and Bleckt show up. Wyldfyre was able set a diversion by telling Roby she likes his personality and cufflinks. She asks for a closer look and Roby explains that the cufflinks were given to him by Bleckt before the first game. This is the proof Wyldfyre needed to prove to Arin that Roby is innocent and she feels good about it. When Roby comes out from his office, Wyldfyre awkwardly says bye to him and realizes she walked in the wrong direction after Roby points it out to her. Roby tells her that it was good to see her too and calls her “Wyfy”. Inside Roby’s office, Arin and Wyldfyre discover that Bleckt has a secret underground room filled with photos of him wanting to get rid off Roby. Wyldfyre was shock to find it and felt terrified to be in there.
In "Elements of Betrayal", Wyldfyre sees Roby with Ras and thinks that Ras captured him. They head towards the monastery nearby, where the battle between the ninja, Ras, and Nokt is happening. Outside the monastery, Roby is holding on a side of a cliff, barely holding himself up from falling down a deep trench. Wyldfyre shows up and grabs his hand to get him get back up. Roby declares his love for Wyldfyre and they both lean in to kiss. Wyldfyre suddenly roars, which caught Roby off guard. Wyldfyre explains it's a romance roar, which in her culture of fire dragons, is how they declare their love. Roby roars back and they both keep roaring back at each other. After the tournament is over, Wyldfyre has to go back with the Ninja. Roby and Wyldfyre agree to stay in touch with each other. She says to him that she’ll never forget their first roar and then they both roar together. Wyldfyre winks at Roby before she leaves, calling him cutie and Roby blows a kiss at her.
Kai is Wyldfyre's master. They meet in "The Battle of the Second Monastery" she unintentionally insulted him about his Fire powers being the same as hers, Kai was confused and frustrated between them but they still shared a high five over their agreement of battle. Over time Kai and Wyldfyre kept being at odds with each other but with Kai's lessons on patience, Wyldfyre slowly learned to accept and care for Kai.
In "The Temple of the Dragon Cores", the grudge goes to a new height as Wyldfyre's cocky attitude angers Kai to the point they fight each other only to be broken up by Zane. Later Kai and Wyldfyre work together to fix the sanctuary but Kai says that her percision need work
In "Wyldly Inappropriate", Kai and Wyldfyre are trapped by the Greenbone Warriors; sentenced to death for stealing their gems, while they both deny they stole them, they both figured out a way to get out of the pit and Wyldfyre admits to stealing them as a prank. Kai made an agreement to the Greenbone Warriors that they won't come back but Wyldfyre makes a joke with her Heat power allowing them to escape. Kai lectures to Wyldfyre that she needs to take her power seriously but she ignores Kai and claims he's boring. He later reminds Wyldfyre of the plan to get the Dragon Core but she still takes it lightly. When they reach the Lava-Tides: Kai is surprised and irritated with Wyldfyre's antics and ignorance towards the Lava-Tides, but tries to win them over by explaining the dire situation, convinces them that Wyldfyre has changed, and begs for the Dragon Core. With Wyldfyre slowly understanding Kai's lesson on bullying, Wyldfyre accepts her deeds and made "peace" with the Lava-Tides only to be betrayed as a prank but they work together to get the Dragon Core and escape the Pit of No Return.
In "They Call it Doom", Wyldyre's ignorance and stubborness get in the way of getting the Dragon Core and lead to Heatwave getting injured.
In "The Land of Lost Things," Kai's lesson on patience and his cure for Heatwave lead to Wyldfyre being more calm and a little more patient to the current situation.
In "The Administration," Wyldfyre's impatience makes her upset and stressed with Heatwave's injury and getting the Dragon Core back to the other ninja. But Kai makes Wyldfyre follow his forms to calm her down and make her more patient. Despite Wyldfyre's doubts, Kai encourages this because she reminds Kai of himself. The forms helped Wyldfyre calm down and be more patient, letting Heatwave heal.
In "Absolute Power", Kai tells Wyldfyre to let loose and ignore his lessons about patience long enough for the ninja to get into Imperium.
After some complications, such as her grudge with the Lava-Tides, Heatwave being injured, and being taught patience, she eventually warmed up to him. When she got injured by Cinder, Wyldfyre, despite Kai's demands, came with him after smuggling aboard the Bounty. When Kai was sent to the Nether-Space, she was completely sad and dedicated herself to ensuring that she lived up to what Wyldfyre believed Kai would have wanted her to be. After his return, Wyldfyre did not hesitate to hug him.
Lloyd is Kai's friend. She first met him when he freed her from the Imperium Prison, mistaking her for Kai, and attacked because he was wearing an Imperian uniform, until he saved her from some guards and joined the ninja after escaping Imperium with Heatwave and the other dragons. Lloyd and Wyldfyre became close where after Cinder knocked Lloyd down she attempted to attack Cinder only for her leg to get broken.
Wyldfyre even cared about him as after he was injured by Zeatrix, she angrily confronted her which made the latter lose her temper. Lloyd was confused when he saw Wyldfyre and Roby roaring their love, only for Sora to drag him away.
Riyu and Wyldfyre are close friends. They are often together, Riyu notably helped Wyldfyre when she was injured in the leg, by carrying her on his back. They both seem to feel good and comfortable together, Wyldfyre having been raised by dragons and Riyu being a dragon who live with humans. They notably rest together on the same bed in the Tournament of the Sources while Heatwave, Wyldfyre's family, wasn't present.
Nya is Kai's sister. Nya appears to care for Wyldfyre as she was disappointed to see the latter stowed away, despite having a broken leg. When Kai was sent to the Nether-Space, they became closer. Nya comforted Wyldfyre, but expressed worry upon seeing the latter trying to honor him by becoming the new Red Ninja from being overconfident. Nya also often help retrain Wyldfyre of her anger and Wyldfyre in return show care for Nya, notably when she was worries about Nya when her boyfriend Jay was corrupted by Shatterspin, or when she assiduously supported Nya and showed strong animosity towards her opponent, in Nya's duel with Nokt in the Tournament of the Sources while the latter tried to destabilize her by evoking Kai and Jay; as well as when Wyldfyre and Sora, hugged Nya in "The Vault of Focus" after she was disappointed in Jay's behavior, while she hoped that there was still goodness in him.
Arin is Wyldfyre's teammate. Arin once gave Wyldfyre a brief reprimand for her actuality of relieving herself wherever she wants, and wondering if she'll ever train with him and the others. During the Tournament of the Sources, Arin and Wyldfyre both searched for clues for Bleckt's involvement in Ras' plan to use the Forbidden Five. When Arin leaves the team, she is both upset and concerned about Arin since she has grown close to him. During the battle against the Chaos Dragon, Wyldfyre shows no contempt or any hard feelings on Arin as she helped him to gain the upper hand against the Thunderfang. Following Arin's victory, she is saddened when Arin leaves the team again that she quickly jumped on board in finding Barry and Jenny after Jay reveals that Arin's parents are alive. Showing that she doesn't want Arin to be led astray. When Arin rejoins the team again, she immediately welcomed him back.
— Wyldfyre figuring out Sora used her powers to help Arin, "Rising Ninja"
Sora is Wyldfyre's teammate. Despite the rocky start, the two began to work together. In "Rising Ninja", Wyldfyre quickly figured out that Sora help Arin throw the Elemental Fire Mech's hand. Both Wyldfyre and Sora agreed to keep it a secret, not wanting to burden Arin with the knowledge of Sora's intervention. When Lloyd interrupted Wyldfyre and Roby's moment, Sora was the one who dragged him away, which she seemed to appreciate. In "Clues and Suspects", Wyldfyre showed a confused face when Arin rejected Sora's help. But she knows full well how Arin must've figured out the secret. When Arin left, Wyldfyre is left concerned of Sora. Then, when Sora chooses to follow Arin following Thunderfang's defeat, she shows shock and concern that Sora is willing to follow Arin but doesn't question it.
Cole is Wyldfyre's teammate. They had little interaction, besides Cole trying to calm her down when Nokt insulted Nya’s brother Kai and her boyfriend Jay only for Wyldfyre to cause him look annoyed. Even during Nya's fight Cole tried to help calm her down.
Zane is Wyldfyre's teammate. They had little interaction, apart from him breaking up a fight between her and Kai, as well as become insulted by her when he wasn't able to hit the Spirit of the Temple.
Zur is a fellow Elemental Master, whom Wyldfyre met in the Tournament of Sources. She was disappointed that Zane lost to him. When they came across each other, Zur was able to help translate the writing in Bleckt's ledger, also telling her about himself and his kind. She called him a friend when they confronted Bleckt at Nokt's victory ceremony.
Jay is a former ninja, yet the two hardly had any interaction. They first met each other at the Tournament of Sources, yet did not interact with each other.
Following the tournament, Wyldfyre joined Kai and Nya to search for Jay. She also commented that Jay is better at disappearing than Mr. Pale.
As Beatrix was responsible for capturing Heatwave (and thus for Wyldfyre's imprisonment as well), Wyldfyre likely hated the former Empress for her crimes.
Wyldfyre first encountered the Freebooters during the Battle of the Second Monastery, when they were known as the Claws of Imperium at the time. Following the Liberation of Imperium, Wyldfyre discovered that the Rapton, despite helping the ninja defeat Beatrix, had rebranded the Claws of Imperium as the Freebooters, allowing him and the Claw Hunters to persist in their dragon hunting endeavors.
Wyldfyre meet Dorama when she and Kai embarked on a mission to find the purple Dragon Core. Dorama had cunningly snatching it from Kai and Wyldfyre. Wyldfyre found his speech boring and his staff's ability to drain their attacks to be unfair. Together with Kai, they tried to thwart Dorama's plan of delivering the Dragon Core to the Empress. However, their efforts were in vain as Dorama successfully swapped the real core with a fake one during their clash with the Lava-Tides.
Wyldfyre first met Ras during the Battle of the Second Monastery. She likely resents him for capturing Heatwave and the other dragons. Later, when Ras reassembled the Wolf Clan, Wyldfyre and the rest of the ninja embarked on a mission to prevent Ras from releasing the Forbidden Five. Although Ras managed to free Nokt (and unknowingly Rox) by using Kai as a sacrifice. Her resentment towards him presumably increased because of this. With the help of Zur, she was able to expose his and Bleckt's conspiracy throughout the Tournament of Sources.
Wyldfyre has a massive grudge against Cinder. During their first battle, Cinder easily defeated her by breaking her leg. In the Tournament of Sources, Cinder used the non-violence rule to intimidate Wyldfyre as well as insulted Kai, to the point after her defeat against him, Wyldfyre nearly attacked Cinder, only for him to fall back, feigning at being hit. She was presumably satisfied to see her rival incarcerated along with the Wolf Clan.
“Was that supposed to be an apology? I don't know what your caregiver bot taught you, but mine always said apologies should have the words "I'm sorry." You know what should be done to you, Creep-atrix? You should be… tied up! In front of a really delicious melon that you'll never be able to reach. No, no, you should be poked with a million sticks, while playing songs you hate on a loop, forever!”
Zeatrix is the twin sister of Beatrix. When Zeatrix ruthlessly struck Lloyd down following her loss in the tournament, Wyldfyre began making insults against the former, only for Zeatrix to knock her back with her power before Roby interfered.
“I don't care for being jostled about like a sack of beets! But I really don't care for getting crushed, so… thank you for your timely intervention, young lady.”
— Bleckt to Wyldfyre after she 'saves' him from a brick, "The Final Game"
Wyldfyre tries to persuade Bleckt
Bleckt is Roby's uncle. She easily found Bleckt suspicious due his harsh attitude towards Roby before she managed to swap his ledger for a menu and, thanks to Zur, discovered he was behind rigging the tournament.
