Roby introduces the ninja and the audience to a Pace Dragon and explains that they must beat him in the Cavern Run to qualify in the Tournament of the Sources again. The Pace Dragon had the lead at the beginning of the race.

The Pace Dragon almost finished ahead of the ninja, but they were able to beat him just in time.

- Their design greatly resembles that of the Mountain Dragons and their color scheme coincidentally corresponds with the Element of Speed. However, they do not have access to the element.[1]
