The Resistance was a team created by Lloyd to stop Vex and return Zane back to normal, in addition to returning the Never-Realm to its state from before Zane's arrival.

A Fragile Hope[]
After Grimfax freed Lloyd and Kataru from the Ice Emperor's dungeon, Lloyd welcomed him to the Resistance.
Once and for All[]
Lloyd, Kataru, and Grimfax tried to destroy Vex's crystal, but Vex already knew what happened and appeared with his Blizzard Samurai. This forced Lloyd to split up from the group and confront Zane.
Awakenings[]
Meanwhile, Akita had already found Zane and tried to fulfill her revenge, but cannot do so. Lloyd burst in and Akita was furious when he prevented her from destroying Zane. Zane then intercepted them and knocked them both out. Eventually, he froze Akita and Lloyd's whole body except for his head. Vex came in and admired this, encouraging Zane to destroy him. When Vex gloated to Lloyd about his failures, Zane recalled on the word "protect" and all his memories came back. He knocked Vex out, destroyed the Scroll of Forbidden Spinjitzu, and the curse was lifted from the Never-Realm.
In the end, Akita is reunited with Kataru, Zane with the ninja, and Grimfax is returned as King. Vex is banished from the lands.
