Rocking the Fangpyre! is a Ninjago: Masters of Spinjitzu comic from the January–February 2012 issue of the LEGO Club Magazine.
Plot

Jay has been captured by a Fangpyre Truck, which is being closely tailed by Zane on his snowmobile and Cole on his Tread Assault. Cole warns Zane not to let a Fangpyre bite him, and also takes note of their foul breath. Fangtom notices the ninja approaching him and warns them to stay back or they'll be sorry. As Zane gets closer to the Fangpyre Truck, he states that he might be angry, and is certainly disgusted, but is not sorry. The truck uses its tail to knock him off of his snowmobile, and Cole cries out. Thinking fast, he fires a missile from his Tread Assault, striking the cliff face above Fangtom and the Fangpyre Truck. Fangtom laughs at Cole for missing, but rubble falls from the cliff, freeing Jay while crushing Fangtom and the truck. After reuniting with Zane and Cole, Jay cracks a joke about the Fangpyre being stuck between a rock and a hard place, and Cole groans.

- This comic is based on the 9445 Fangpyre Truck Ambush and 9444 Cole's Tread Assault sets and served to help advertise them.
- This is evident with several play features of the sets being displayed, such as the tail swing of the Fangpyre Truck and the projectile missile of the Tread Assault.
