Plot
Plot[]
Garmadon, Samukai, Kruncha, and Wyplash make their way to the Fire Temple aboard the Skull Truck, aiming to claim the Sword of Fire. Together, they easily defeat Zane and Jay, capturing the Nunchucks of Lightning in the process. As they drive off, Samukai declares that the Sword of Fire will be his, though Garmadon reminds him it would be "our's." As they leave the defeated ninja behind in the dust, Kruncha taunts the two with, "See you at the Fire Temple, if you ever get there in your life!" Zane however murmurs that he has a feeling the Sword of Fire will be used today.
Meanwhile at the Fire Temple's dojo, Nya alerts Kai and Wu about the Skulkins' arrival, noting that they had claimed the Nunchucks of Lightning. In response, Kai insists that they must use the Sword of Fire but Wu tells him it is too early and he has a different assignment in mind for Kai. Outside the gates of the temple, Garmadon demands the sword to be surrendered to him, promising mercy if it is delivered to his hands. Overhearing this, Samukai and Wyplash question the truth behind such a statement, though Wyplash admits he considered the random slap on his head he received from Garmadon that morning without being asked for anything to be considered mercy by Garmadon's standards. The two then complain that they would not be allowed to destroy the ninja but perhaps they could give them some nasty presents instead.
Kruncha then suggests they flip a coin to decide whether or not they can destroy the ninja and he turns to Wyplash for a coin, though the General of Ice replies that he has no pockets. Overhearing this nonsense, Garmadon buries his face in his hand, wearily remarking under his breath, "Do you see now why I want to leave the Underworld?" Samukai then interjects, telling Kruncha to stay alert as they were facing four well trained ninja. Kruncha asks if it was "Four ninja or four ninjas," and Garmadon adds that his brother Wu is there as well. Wyplash then joins in on the conversation, adding that they were also facing a "Big dragon with mean, bad breath." At that moment, Kai emerged, riding atop of the fire dragon which now breathed flames upon Garmadon and the Skulkin, forcing them to retreat. As they abandoned the Skull Truck and ran for their lives, Garmadon warned that the Ninja had not seen the last of him and he would be back one day to claim the Sword of Fire.
At nightfall, the ninja celebrated their victory by toasting up hotdogs with the dragon's fire breath. As they sat around the fire, Wu noted that Zane was correct and the Sword of Fire was indeed used today.
