The Tread Assault was a large dune buggy used by Cole. It resembles a big black 4x4 vehicle with elements corresponding to Earth. The Tread Assault can be summoned by focusing one's mind on the Scythe of Quakes.

Trivia[]

  • This is the only Elemental vehicle that was not remade in the Ninjago: Legacy line.
    • The Earth Driller was chosen over this vehicle for the Legacy line because the Earth Driller is more recognizable and the Tread Assault would have had to be more modified from its original design due to the standards being different from those in 2012.[1]
  • This is the only Elemental vehicle to have a shooter in the Rise of the Snakes sets.
  • Though not shown in the series, the set has a feature where the vehicle flips over, and on the underside, there are many green-colored bricks to make it look like a snake vehicle if Cole is on an undercover mission or a Fangpyre bit the vehicle.
