Plot
Plot[]
From the journals of Sensei Wu[]
Wu describes the events that befell the ninja after defeating the Preeminent. Cole became a ghost, Nya became a master of water, and the six heroes gained incredible popularity. However, following the destruction of the Cursed Realm, Djinjago is also destroyed, prompting the evil djinn Nadakhan to seek revenge on the ninja. Due to the doppelgangers he sent, the citizens begin to believe their beloved heroes have become criminals. The Spinjitzu masters face a difficult task: they must defeat their evil copies and a dangerous wish-granting entity.
My light, my mirror[]
Jay leads Kai to a restaurant where an evil doppelganger of the blue ninja has entered. When the heroes enter, the manager is surprised and says he just sent Jay to the kitchen to leave through the back door. The ninjas run into the kitchen, just as the evil Jay re-enters the restaurant. He claims the food is poisonous and that he can fix it. When the doppelganger returns to the kitchen, Kai and the real Lightning Ninja re-enter the restaurant through the main entrance and, judging by the manager's reaction, realize they missed the villain while searching the alley. The heroes return to the kitchen, where their search is hampered by steam.
Kai manages to find the doppelganger, but he quickly disappears from sight and hides in a storage room. The real Jay enters the room after him, and after a while, the Lightning Ninja emerges, stating that the villain apparently escaped through a secret passage. He invites Kai to explore the room and then locks the door behind him, revealing that he was the fake Jay. Kai finds the real Jay in a potato sack. The ninja break the lock and enter the kitchen, which is now in complete chaos. When the angry manager runs up to them and says that Jay's terrible advice ruined the noodles, the blue ninja gets an idea. He suggests the manager go out into the dining room and announce to the customers that the famous chef Kai is cooking today. When Kai begins describing the food he's about to prepare, the doppelganger sitting in the dining room writhes in disgust and vanishes. Jay explains that his evil counterpart was overcome by the power of the bad cooking for which the fire ninja is famous.
