Shatterspin, also titled as Ninjago: Shatterspin, is a canon^[1] Ninjago comic series that had its first issue released on July 24, 2024 and its second issue on October 9, 2024. The third, fourth, and fifth issues' individual releases were cancelled but they were included in the collected edition on April 30, 2025.

The comic series has had each one of its issues face multiple delays, and in the end, the third, fourth, and fifth issues were cancelled.
- Issue 1 was delayed 2 times and in total 63 days.
- Issue 2 was delayed 8 times and in total 105 days.
- Issue 3 was delayed 10 times and in total 203 days.
- Issue 4 was delayed 9 times and in total 140 days.
- Issue 5 was delayed 4 times and in total 77 days.
Tri Vuong had stated he did not know the official reasons for the delay, but it is possible that it was because of how long they took to produce.^[4]
As of March 2025, Tommy Kalmar stated that the rest of the Shatterspin story is planned to be released, although there is a delay.^[5]
This is the first canon comic series not to feature the ninja in any capacity.
