At some point in time, Peri and her family moved to this villa at the top of a mountain following the birth of her younger sister, Indi.
The Chroma's Clutches (flashback)[]
One day, as Wu and Garmadon continued their journey, they found themselves climbing atop a misty mountain covered in lush vegetation. As they journeyed, they encountered a strange monkey-dog like creature, which then led them to the top of the mountain where they discovered the villa. There, the brothers met Peri, the villa's lone resident, who then offered them food and lodging for the night.
Accepting Peri's offer, the brothers followed her through the home, passing by many paintings made by Peri's father as well as many other easels displaying incomplete works. The brothers then assisted their host in preparing dinner before they were shown their rooms for the night. Later that night however, Garmadon was awoken by the sound of guttural howling. As he investigated the halls of the villa, he was able to trace the sound back to one particular door, and before Garmadon could enter however, Peri stepped out and blocked access to Garmadon, insisting that the howling he heard had only just been the wind.
The next morning, the brothers joined Peri on the balcony where they shared breakfast together before learning more about Peri's past and her family. After breakfast, the brothers agreed to help Peri with some of her daily chores in the garden, harvesting blackberries and uprooting weeds for example, before then posing for one of her portraits. When the brothers awoke however, they discovered that Peri had somehow transported them into one of the many paintings that adorned the villa's halls, as she had intended for them to serve as the latest warriors to challenge The Chroma.
Following the destruction of the Chroma, all those that had previously been imprisoned inside of its portrait were able to step foot once more into the real world, exiting their way into the halls of the villa. After spending some more time with Peri and her family, Wu and Garmadon eventually left the villa to continue on their journey.
