The Tuskstaff is made from actual Mammoth tusks, one of the hardest substances known to Chima and the most difficult to work with. It is a hard weapon to make because of this, and only Mottrot's brains made it possible to do.

Mottrot's double-ended spear has two giant tusks. As mammoth weapons are often built for someone of Mungus's size, this is spear is almost too big for Mottrot to handle.
