Spy for a Spy[]

When Garmadon and the Ninja are attending a feast inside Chen's Palace alongside several Elemental Masters, they are served with cooked horned wasp eggs. Chen tries to encourage the guests to have a taste with the eggs by claiming that they're delicious. Though Lloyd respectfully declines, Shade takes a bite from one of the eggs, finding it to be delicious.

The Explorers Club[]

When Lloyd, Nya, and Zane walked into the entomology room, Nya accidentally knocked over a jar containing tiger wasps. One of the wasps flew onto Zane's hand, which he quickly identified. It then stung Lloyd on the hand, prompting the wasps to chase the ninja around the room. They attacked Cecil Putnam and the security guards who came in to intervene, but Cecil managed to get away. The wasps continued their assault on others before finally escaping when the doors opened.

A virtual version of tiger wasps appeared in Terra Karana.

Smythe opened a jar containing tiger wasps and used them against a Maaray Guard.

Wyldly Inappropriate[]

After Kai and Wyldfyre went down the Pit of No Return and got the purple Dragon Core, they unintentionally disturbed some decayed Wyldmelons. This caused them to burst open, unleashing swarms of Death Wasps that had been hiding inside. The wasps chased the two ninja, but Kai managed to stop them by using fireballs to break off large pieces of rock, burying the wasps in the pit.
