Nindroid Swarm

Overview

Non-canon tp "Not even close!"
This topic is considered non-canon because it is only loosely based on the franchise.

Nindroid Swarm[1] was a game added to LEGO.com on November 1, 2013 to promote the upcoming release of Season 3: Rebooted, its corresponding sets and the LEGO Ninjago: Rebooted game.[2] It was removed on November 27, 2013 as LEGO updated the web page.[3][4]

Gameplay

Gameplay[]

Upon staying idle on the LEGO.com/Ninjago homepage for long enough, the game would appear.[5] Nindroids would swarm the screen, with the goal of the player being to protect Master Wu by smashing them.[2] The more Nindroids the player smashed, the more rewards they would get.

Rewards

Rewards[]

  • After 10 Nindroids smashed, three wallpapers would be unlocked (a blueprint of Zane, a blueprint of a Nindroid and a blueprint of Cole's Techno Blade).
    • A fourth wallpaper (of Zane's technoblade) was intended to be available as well, with an option to download it being unlocked with the others. However, its images were mistakenly replaced with the images for the wallpaper of Cole's technoblade.[6]
  • After 19 Nindroids smashed, five concept art pdfs would be unlocked (Ninjago vehicles, Ninjago blueprints, Ninjago characters, Ninjago world and Ninjago weapons).
  • After 30 Nindroids smashed, two videos would be unlocked (one being a trailer for Season 3: Rebooted,[5] and the other being a "making-of" video regarding the LEGO Ninjago: Rebooted game[7]).
