Overview
Garmadon's monastery, also known as Garmadon's sanctuary,[1][2][3] was a large dojo and dwelling sitting in a village at the base of a mountain, that was owned by Garmadon and Misako to train young students in martial arts. After Garmadon's banishment to the Cursed Realm, it became a tea shop called Steep Wisdom.

Prior to Rebooted[]
After the Overlord was defeated, Garmadon and Misako moved to a small village in a dojo monastery where students could learn martial arts.
The Art of the Silent Fist[]
After being on the run for a long time, the ninja decide to rest at the monastery. Later that night, evil P.I.X.A.L. tried to steal the Techno Blades, but Zane captured her and recovered the Techno Blades. Zane brought P.I.X.A.L. to the monastery where the other ninja and Garmadon were, and after being hacked by Zane's Techno Blade, she turns good and reveals to them that The Overlord wants to capture Lloyd to steal his Golden Power and become the Golden Master. But after she finishes revealing the Overlord's plan, the Nindroid Army attack the monastery. The ninja are not strong enough to defeat them and they retreat. The ninja then split up, by getting Lloyd and Garmadon as far away as possible (so that the Nindroids won't be able to capture them), and the rest of them heading back to the city.
The Void[]
When the Nindroids invaded Borg Tower, Garmadon, P.I.X.A.L., Wu, and Nya took cover in the monastery.
The Titanium Ninja[]
In the monastery, the ninja's allies tried to encourage them to find a way out of space.
The Invitation[]
Following the loss of Zane, Nya and Wu began creating plans to restore the Destiny's Bounty at the monastery.

After Garmadon became good and renounced violence, he took up residence in a peaceful monastery located in a small village. In this beautiful setting, surrounded by orchards and a sparkling waterfall, Garmadon taught students the ways of peace.[2]

- According to Tommy Andreasen, the monastery was taken apart and rebuilt into Steep Wisdom before the events of Season 5.[4]
