The necklace is an ornament worn by Leaf Blade that comes from the First Land.[1] It represents his status as the tribe regent of the Mountain Dragons.

When Arin arrived in the Mountain Dragons nest in the World Trees, Leaf Blade was wearing his necklace, allowing him to communicate with Arin through theraphy.
Later when Leaf Blade confronted Ras and Arin in the Temple of the Dragon Cores accompanied by some Mountain Dragons, he used his necklace to communicate with them.
