The crystal eggs[1] are eggs belonging to the Daidarabotchi in the Land of Monsters.

To Become a Monster[]
Some time after The Merge, a vengeful Daidan sought to destroy one of the crystal eggs as revenge for the Daidarabotchi's slaying of her own child. Although the colossal monster fought back to defend its progeny, Daidan would have succeeded in destroying the egg had it not been for the intervention of Kai who then attempted to reason with the life dragon. Daidan however, shrugged off his words and resumed her intent of destruction, weaving past the colossal monster as she prepared to unleash a blast of Energy upon the egg. As she neared the egg, however, Daidan halted her attack when she caught a glimpse of her own hateful reflection and broke off her attack, sparing the egg.
