The Daidarabotchi^[1]^[2] (also known as Bar-suul^[3]) is a monster that lives in the Land of Monsters.

The following information is considered non-canon.

After the Merge, the Daidarabotchi attacked a village of people in the Land of Monsters, and tried to devour the villagers, but was attacked by Daidan, who blasted fire at it, causing it to flee from the village. Later, it travelled to the dragon's new nest, with an empty stomach, the Daidarabotchi waited for Daidan to fall asleep, planning to eat her newly laid eggs.

At one point in time, the Daidarabotchi consumed Daidan's child, leaving her with a burning desire for revenge against the monster and a bitter outlook on life.

To Become a Monster[]

One day after The Merge, Kai found himself caught in the crossfire of a battle between the Daidarabotchi and Daidan. When the colossal creature tore apart the very ground Kai stood upon, he saw that the monster was guarding one of its eggs, which Daidan seemed intent on destroying. Misreading the circumstances and believing that the Daidarabotchi was the victim of these circumstances, Kai intervened and stopped Daidan from destroying the egg. This action gave the giant an opportunity to swat both Kai and Daidan away with a mighty blow.

When Daidan made another pass at the egg, the Daidarabotchi once again sought to defend its progeny, but was unable to stop the smaller and nimbler dragon. After the dragon broke off her attack, the colossal monster spotted Kai and reached for him, though the Master of Fire was rescued and speedily taken away by Daidan.
