The flail is a weapon owned by Jay. It was presumably given to him by the Munce in the Dungeons of Shintaro.

The Darkest Hour[]

During Grief-Bringer's attack, Jay charged with Lloyd, Kai, and Zane to defend the Geckle Strong-Cave. He used a shield and flail to attack the Re-Awakened. However, he and the other ninja surrendered their weapons in order to save the Geckles and Munce.

The flail consists of a handle, a thick mace, and a chain connecting these together. It bears close resemblance to Jay's golden kusarigama in design, where the blade is instead replaced by the mace and the dragon head is replaced by a silver bottom.
