Jungle Chase! is the 97th issue of the Ninjago Magazine. It includes 892297 Golden Oni Lloyd and Golden Cole and Dragon Form Zane appear on the cover.

After recovering their vehicles from the Ninjago City Police Department, the Ninja began speeding off towards Primeval's Eye in response to a distress signal from Lloyd. As they approached the dense jungle, Zane alerted the team that the jungle seemed to be heavily guarded by strange, crystal warriors. With no time to think about what these warriors were doing in the jungle, the Ninja continued their advance, discovering that the warriors' spears were fashioned out of Vengestone.
Zane, with his Golden Dragon Jet, alongside Wu and Nya onboard Destiny's Bounty were able to provide aerial support and successfully drove away the warriors on the ground. Unfortunately, victory was still far off, as the crystal warriors had air support of their own in the form of three Dragonides. While Zane and Nya were forced to flee from the Dragonides, the other three ninja continued their advance on the ground into Primeval's Eye.
As the Dragonides pursued the Bounty and Zane, Nya began to perform a series of clever and dangerous maneuvers in an effort to shake off their pursuers. In spite of Zane's warnings about their odds of survival, Nya flew the Bounty deep into the canopy of the jungle, shaking off one dragonide immediately when it crashed into a tree. After twisting and turning through the dense maze of vegetation, Wu ordered Nya to fly the Bounty closer to the ground, where another dragonide was captured by Strangle Weed.
With only one dragonide left, Nya flew the Bounty out of the trees, believing now that they stood a fighting chance against a single one of flying crystal beasts. As Wu prepared the ship's cannon, however, he spotted not one, but four dragonides in pursuit! Evidently, the last of the creatures had called for assistance. Thinking quickly, Nya developed a new strategy and dropped the Bounty's anchor, catching it against a nearby tree. Now sharply turning the ship's wheel, Nya turned the Bounty around hard and struck all four dragonides against the ship's side. With their enemies defeated, Nya set sail once more back towards Lloyd's distress beacon.

- Although the previous issue's comics takes place after "Return to Primeval's Eye", this issue's comic takes place before Lloyd was rescued.
