Noodles is the first mini-movie released to promote Ninjago NXT. It aired on December 15, 2022 on the LEGO Youtube channel. The comic version of the story was added on December 5, 2022 on the LEGO site.

Plot

Cole was found slumbering in a hammock alongside his Earth Dragon until he woke from his sleep. Together, they proceeded to a noodle restaurant to indulge in a meal. However, they were interrupted by the arrival of two of green bone warriors. A competition ensued between the Warriors and Cole and his dragon, as they all attempted to consume as many noodles as possible. As the dragon continued to consume more and more noodles, it began to grow in size, causing Cole to lose his balance and fall from his hammock. Cole soon realized that the experience had been nothing more than a dream.

  • The Earth Dragon's size augmentation during noodle consumption foreshadowed the side effects of their ingestion of Cragling mud, which lead to their growth in both physical stature and aggression, as seen in Dragons Rising, Season 1.
  • While the exact placement in the timeline is unknown, it can be presumed to take place before Desert to the Bone, as Cole has an Earth Dragon in both story, and the Greenbone Warriors had been imprisoned after the Bone Tournament.
