The Bone Tournament is a competition that should decide whether the ninja should escape the Bone King and his skeletons.

Using tea, the Bone King made the ninja disappear from their tea shop and appear in his cave, where he made them compete in a tournament.
As the tournament began, the chained Ninja were confronted by a Bone Warrior and a Bone Hunter using a ballista. Thinking fast, the Ninja were able to dodge the fired bolt, which instead shattered their chains and restored their Elemental Powers. Zane then quickly dispatched the ballista and its users with his Ice powers, angering the Bone King who then called for Bone Scorpios to deal with the Ninja.
By using their Spinjitzu, the Ninja were able to easily overpower the Scorpios, knocking them from their mounts, which the Ninja then commandeered to climb their way out of the Bone King's Lair. Once they escaped, the Ninja dispatched the Bone Scorpions and Cole shattered a nearby stone, sealing off the entrance into the Bone King's lair, imprisoning him and his Greenbone Warriors once more.
