Dragons Rising, Season 1[]

The Temple of the Dragon Cores[]

Gus was in a car at the passenger side front seat as he and his companions expressed their delight in the food they had eaten. The topic of their conversation shifted to the Ninja, which lead to an argument on whether they were alive or not, before a MergeQuake occurred and a rift opened up, sending flaming boulders, which caused the car to crash into a guardrail. While his friends got out in time, Gus didn't, reprimanding himself for eating too much dessert before falling, only to be saved by Sora, who rode on Zanth, before dropping him off, and she and the other Ninja, depart once the rift was closed. While watching them leave, Gus and his companions wondered if people will believe them or not.

The Power Within[]

After Lloyd stabilized the Merged Lands, Gus was teleported back to the Crossroads after being sucked in a MergeQuake rift. He told the citizens about the ninja's return and celebrated with them.

The Blood Moon (screen)[]

Gus was in Ninjago City when Lobbo was unable to get out of his rampaging mech, almost running Gus down before Lloyd and Arin free him, and Sora turns the mech into a DJ set, initiating a dance party, which Gus joins in and dances.

• He shares his name with a character appearing in the graphic novel Rise of the Serpentine, released over 11 years before Season 1 of Dragons Rising.
