The lightning off-roader was a security tank that was hacked into by Jay using his Techno Blade. It can connect with Cole's Earth Mech to create the Thunder Raider.

In Prime Empire, the Chrome Domes have newer versions of the lightning off-roader to participate in the Speedway Five-Billion.

After the Digital Overlord took control of all technology in New Ninjago City, Jay managed to hack into a surveillance tank and modify it into his own Lightning tank.

The Art of the Silent Fist[]

Jay used his Lightning off-roader to trick the Nindroids into thinking they've escaped.

Enter the Digiverse[]

While traversing the Digiverse in order to stop the Digital Overlord, Jay summons the Lightning off-roader in order to travel faster.

Codename: Arcturus[]

Jay fused the Lightning off-roader and Cole's Earth Mech in order to reach the Lost City of Ouroboros and rescue Kai.

The Titanium Ninja[]

Jay used the Lightning off-roader in order to infiltrate Ninjago City.

The Speedway Five-Billion[]

Multiple racers called the Chrome Domes use Lightning off-roader in the Speedway Five-Billion.

Functions

The Lightning off-roader is armed with a variety of weaponry, which include multiple missile launchers and laser cannons. Specialized tire treads allow it to scale steep surfaces. It can fuse with the Earth Mech in order to transform into the Thunder Raider.
