The Anacondrai Temple is a large underground temple under Chen's Palace.

History

The ninja sneaked into the temple and witnessed Chen stealing Karlof's Elemental Powers.

The Forgotten Element[]

After being captured earlier, Kai, Jay, Griffin Turner, Neuro, Mr. Pale, and Shade were stripped of their powers by Chen. Before leaving to work in the factory, Skylor begged for Kai to be spared and Chen allowed Kai to stay with Skylor.

Once Lloyd is captured, Chen stripped Skylor's powers before stealing Lloyd's. Having all of the necessary elements, Clouse started the transformation spell to turn into Anacondrai, but Kai and Skylor surprised Chen by kicking the staff out of Chen's hands.

Kai grabbed the staff and started attacking the Anacondrai Cultists. He is soon overwhelmed at all of the power he's possessing and nearly used it against Lloyd, but the rest of the Elemental Masters crash the party and breach the temple by destroying the stone snake head..

Kai and Chen spotted the staff and started to run for it, but Kai is able to grab it and destroy it; allowing all of the Elemental Masters to regain their powers and defeat most of the Anacondrai warriors, though Chen, Clouse and a select few of his other followers escaped with Skylor as their captive.

Shadow of Ronin (non-canon)[]

In Kai's retelling of the events of Chen's Island, the Staff of Elements was placed in the temple, guarded by Clouse's serpent.

  • The set of the temple is extremely different from how it appears in the TV show. In the set, it's an actual temple, while in the TV show, it appears to be an underground chamber where the warriors worship the Anacondrai and rid the Elemental Masters of their powers using the Staff of Elements. The only major similarity between the two is that both feature a giant stone snake head and the Staff of Elements.
  • The Anacondrai Temple's appearance is similar to the Temple of Doom in Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom.
