Slug monsters are slug-like creatures that live inside a Quealiche.

History

The Whispering Wood[]

As Kai, Jay and Nya were in the Monastery of Madness slug monsters watched them from afar.

The Lean of a Tree[]

After leaving the monastery, the ninja noticed the slug monsters, which caused them to attack them. As the ninja tried to fight back, they struggled because of unbalance of the Elemental Powers, which caused one of the slug monsters to almost eat Nya. As the Quealiche burped, the slug monsters thrown away by it. As the ninja left with the Mech Dragon, the slug monsters followed them.

When Jay sacrificed Mech Dragon, it caused Quealiche to vomit, causing the slug monsters to be hurled away by it again.

  • It is unknown if they always lived inside the Quealiche or if the Quealiche ate them at some point.
  • They also share similarities to Mynocks from Star Wars, most notably the ones in the stomach of an exogorth in Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back, with both being parasite-like flying creatures who reside in the stomachs of large slug-like creatures.
