Midnight Duel[]

Sora was suddenly awakened late one night at the Monastery of Spinjitzu. Sensing that something wasn't right, Sora made her way to the training yard and pretended to spar with a training dummy, hoping to lure any potential intruder into a trap. As if part of her plan, a Wolf Mask Guard made his presence known and attacked Sora with a spear! The Guard's attacks were powerful and Sora soon found herself overwhelmed.

Acting quickly, Sora kicked the training dummy, knocking it into the Guard and momentarily stunning him. Using her power of Technology, Sora converted the dummy into a drone and with its boost in speed, she was able to overwhelm and defeat the Wolf Mask Guard. The commotion of their duel woke up Lloyd, Arin, and Riyu who all rushed into the training yard to see Sora standing victoriously over her opponent. Using the drone, Sora then flew the Guard out of the Monastery.

When the Guard woke up, he found a note written by Sora left behind for him alongside a cookie. Although he knew that Ras would not be happy about his failure, at the very least the cookie was delicious!

Dark Hoods Arena[]

Alongside Arin and Riyu, Sora was flying around the Crossroads on a jetpack to investigate a series of mysterious break-ins in several antique shops. As she flew around, a shuriken struck and disabled Sora's jetpack, causing her to plummet to the ground. When Sora recovered, she discovered three hooded figures standing before her. Introducing themselves as the Dark Hoods, the figures informed Sora that she was trespassing on their territory and that they had already captured a boy and his dragon and another hooded man who had also trespassed into their territory. When Sora explained that she her friends had been searching for a thief, the Dark Hoods stated that the hooded man also claimed the same thing and surely one of them must have been lying! To resolve matters, they were going to bring Sora to the hooded man.

Ten minutes later, Sora found herself in the middle of an arena as she was confronted by the hooded man - the same Wolf Mask Guard she had defeated at the Monastery of Spinjitzu! Recognizing her opponent, Sora mockingly asked if he had trained some more since their last encounter, referencing the note she had left with him. The Guard grumbled under his breath and attacked with a pair of Fang claws, his movements and attacks proving that he had indeed since been training! Although Sora was impressed with her opponent's improved combat skills, he was still no match for her power of Technology! Transforming her jetpack into a small battle mech, Sora effortlessly crushed the Wolf Mask Guard, humiliating him a second time. Victorious, Sora demanded for the Dark Hoods to bring her to her friends.

When Sora reunited with Arin and Riyu, the latter two expressed confusion by Sora's claims of rescuing them. In fact, Arin revealed that the Dark Hoods had actually treated them very nicely, providing them with warm blankets and snacks! When Sora confronted the Dark Hoods, they reminded her that they said they protect the lost. When Sora asked why they made her fight the Wolf Mask Guard, the Dark Hoods Leader pointed out that they never requested for such a thing; they had genuinely believed the Guard was Sora's friend too and were planning to reunite the two before bringing both to Arin and Riyu, for surely their friends could tell if one of the two were actually lying! As the Dark Hoods bid them farewell, their leader asked for Sora to look after Arin and Riyu, to which Sora answered affirmatively that she would.
