Save a Saviour
Save a Saviour[]
In the Monastery of Spinjitzu, monks try to calm the survivors of Oni's invasion down and offer them tea. At that time, Gayle Gossip and Vinny Folson saw the Ninjago history mural, and Dareth explains them what events do these paintings represent. However, the reporter questions Dareth's importance in these events, to which the brown ninja tells stories about how he fought the Skulkin, single handedly defeated the Overlord Mech and used his Spinjitzu skills to defeat Skales. Since the NGTV workers did not believe in any of that, he decides to prove it by going to battle Oni alone. Realizing that this could be a perfect report, Gayle and Vinny also go with him.
When Nya sees Dareth taking weapons to battle the Oni, she tells the other ninja about it, so Jay grabs the Nunchucks of Lightning goes after Dareth's group to save them.
When Dareth's group came down from the Mountains of Impossible Height and got close to the Oni cloud, they saw two Oni scouts. Dareth thinks that he will be able to defeat these two Oni, but only when he sends Vinny as a distraction. However, Jay gets to the scene and rescues Vinny, after which he defeats the Oni scouts using his power of Lightning.
When the group returns to the monastery, Jay tells the ninja that now they at least know that Oni can be defeated by the Golden Weapons, and Gayle says that it will be the most sensational report in the history of NGTV.
