Clash in the Trash!
Clash in the Trash![]
As Lloyd walks through a passage in the Monastery of Spinjitzu, he is surprised by the sudden appearance of Wu, who shines brightly green before disappearing. Lloyd is left wondering what his old Master was trying to tell him. He decides to seek out Sora, who is working on a new device, to tell her about the strange encounter. Upon hearing of her master's encounter, Sora suggested that she could build a device that would be able to detect the presence of spirits and allow them to speak with them too. However, she admitted that to build such a device, she would need certain rare parts that would be unobtainable from the Crossroads. The two, alongside Arin and Riyu, then set off aboard Destiny's Bounty, casting sail for the Land of Lost Things, but none the wiser to the presence of Rapton and his platoon of Claw Hunters, all of whom had been deployed by Lord Ras to keep a close eye on the Ninja.
Arriving in the Land of Lost Things, Sora was almost as giddy as a kid in a candy store and began to quickly scramble about the junk heaps in search of the components she needed. As the ninja split up to better maximize their efforts at finding the parts, Rapton watched from nearby and thought to himself that this could be a perfect opportunity to capture Riyu.
In the ensuing confrontation, Rapton managed to pin Lloyd under a pile of junk, though his overconfidence towards the his teenager students allowed for Arin to escape. Ordering his Claws to pursue, Rapton watched as Arin used his Grapple Gun to maneuver across the mountains of trash, even managing to pull down a pile atop his pursuers. Meanwhile, Sora discovered the parts she needed, and with a spark from Riyu, she used her power over Technology to instantly construct her apparatus. After scanning the pile of junk Lloyd was buried under and expressing relief that her master was alive, Sora used her apparatus to create a hologram of her master just as the Claw Hunters closed in on her and Arin. Thinking that they were about to take on the Green Ninja, both Claw Hunters flew into and through the hologram, crashing their chariots into the rubble pile, and freeing Lloyd in the process. As Lloyd effortlessly defeated the Claws, Rapton took the opportunity to flee, declaring that he wasn't willing to go up against the Green Ninja.
As Lloyd thanked his students for saving him, Sora sheepishly admitted that she had to delete Wu's frequency from the apparatus in order to generate the hologram of Lloyd. However, Arin added that Wu would likely manifest himself again if he wished to speak to Lloyd, to which Sora chimed in, adding that he would most likely manifest again back at the monastery, and on that note, they all ought to head home!
