Probationary Potential![]
After parting ways with the Matriarch of the Mountain Dragons, Lloyd, Arin, Sora, and Riyu returned to Destiny's Bounty to continue their journey. Unbeknownst to them however, their departure had been spotted by a Claw General who then informed Rapton that the Ninja had parted ways with the Matriarch. Seeking an opportunity for revenge, Rapton ordered his forces to turn back and to destroy the Ninja, believing that Empress Beatrix would grant him a promotion should he prevail; in fact, even Ras would become subservient to him!
Not long after, Rapton and his fleet caught up to Destiny's Bounty, initiating an attack, much to Lloyd's confusion. Incredulous, the Green Ninja asked Rapton if he was seeking yet another defeat and launched into a spinjitzu tornado, propelling himself into one of the fleet's Hover chariots and shattering it. Arin tried to follow after his teacher, but his wonky spinjitzu unfortunately proved to be too unwieldy. Lloyd encouraged his student not to give up while continuing to smash apart the Claw Hunters, urging Arin to remember the exercises he had done at the Monastery. Unfortunately, Arin's second attempt was just as unsuccessful as the first.
As Arin haphazardly flew through the air, one of the Claw Hunters roped him up with his sword's lasso function. In response, Arin fired his grappling gun to secure himself to Destiny's Bounty, forcing the Claw Hunter to crash his chariot while attempting to reel in his prey. Now safe once more, Arin rushed over to Sora, who was steering the ship before realizing that Lloyd was still fighting. Turning towards their master, Arin saw that Lloyd was just fine, having decimated most of Rapton's forces on his own with the remainder regrouping for a new attack run. While Lloyd and Arin scanned the sky for their enemies, the Claw General and another Claw Hunter began their attack, flying from opposite directions in an effort to take out Sora. Fortunately, Riyu spotted their plan and tackled Sora out of the way, causing both hunters to smash their chariots into each other and sending both pilots out of the sky. With a spark from Riyu, Sora then used her powers over Technology to rip apart and rebuild the two crashed chariots into a new vehicle for herself.
Using this reconstituted chariot, Sora took the battle to the Claw Hunters, decimating all but Rapton's chariot and forcing them once again to retreat, losing her own vehicle in the process. With the skies clear once more, Lloyd congratulated his students as the four returned to the Monastery.
