Beware!

When Two Quests Meet[]

Having received a series of new vehicles, courtesy of P.I.X.A.L., the Ninja began to take their new toys on a test run through the Sea of Sand. After Kai and Cole tested the functions of their new ATV and Rock Cycle respectively, Nya chided them from the cockpit of the Land Bounty to be more careful; after all, they had only just received these vehicles. As they continued their long journey to the Desert of Doom to inspect the mysterious pyramid that had been discovered there, the ninja decided to take a small detour to the nearby ruined city of Ouroboros, intending to spend the night there.

Meanwhile within the city of Ouroborus, a cadre of the ninja's former foes consisting of Rattla, Chokun, Wyplash. a Stone Swordsman, and a Nindroid Warrior, sat around a television in their residence. As the majority of the group watched the television, Rattla paced the room impatiently, declaring that they now had a perfect opportunity to exact revenge on the ninja, for their foes had grown lazy and complacent! Unfortunately, to Rattla's dismay, his own allies too have grown lazy and complacent long since their defeat at the hands of the ninja. Not long after his proclamation, Wyplash entered the room to inform the others that he had repaired the whirlpool and they could all relax in it now, much to the delight of everyone except for Rattla.

Giving in to the desires of his companions, Rattla joined them in the whirlpool and conceded that relaxation could be a good thing once in a while! However, he stressed that while they may relax today, tomorrow they will exact their revenge on the ninja! Unfortunately, the Stone Swordsman argued that tomorrow wouldn't work because he had already planned to cook his famous stir-fried vegetables tomorrow. Conceding this as having already been scheduled, Rattla declared that they would exact their revenge the day after! Unfortunately, Chokun too had a conflict with the day after, for it would be the finale of Ninjago's Got Talent and Chokun refused to miss it. Relenting, Rattla continued to push their date of revenge further and further while running into more conflicts in scheduling. At that moment, the entire group were disturbed by a loud rumbling sound from outside and immediately rushed out to their Monster Truck to confront this disturbance. Outside, the ninja were arriving at the outskirts of the ruined city of Ouroborus when they spotted the monster truck manned by the remnants of their defeated foes. With wide grins, the ninja declared that their quest could now finally begin!

As the villain remnants drove towards the ninja, firing their truck's cannon at their foes' fleet of vehicles, the ninja dodged the attack and responded in kind. With a furious volley of missiles, the ninja easily obliterated the monster truck and forced their foes to retreat into the ruined city. Unmounting from their vehicles, the ninja pursued their foes into the city and split up to each take on one foe. In the moments that followed, four of the five villains were swiftly defeated, leaving only Rattla. As Kai stepped forward towards the Hypnobrai scout, Rattla pulled out a massive gun, which Kai almost immediately destroyed with a burst of fire. As Kai's flames spread across the ruined city, the villain remnants fled into the Sea of Sand.

Unimpressed with Kai's showboating, Cole whipped up a tornado of sand to douse Kai's flames from spreading further across the ruined city. Once the fire was contained, Cole informed Kai that he needed to further practice controlling his elemental power, adding that he wanted to know he could count on Kai and his abilities. As the ninja once again mounted their vehicles and drove off to resume their journey, Kai laughed off Cole's comments and boasted that he could always count on Kai and his fire power!
