The ninja are relaxing in their free apartments in Ninjago City. Jay and Zane are playing a videogame, Cole is waiting for his pizza order and Kai comes back with a box of his figurines that were given to him for free. Lloyd says that the ninja became to lazy and they need to return to training. The other ninja oppose to this, but Lloyd remarks that Cole can't even grab the arrived pizza on the first try due to not practising his ghost abilities. This did not convince the ninja, so Lloyd comes up with a plan to stage an attack, so they can see that there are still potential treats.
The Green Ninja arrives to the "Do-it-yourself" shop and buys some fluorescent paint in ghostly color, after which he has to run from the crazed fans who found him. Then, Lloyd goes to a fishing village and asks for ghostly clothes, but the vendor says that he got to be a ghost to wear them, so Lloyd asks for something that looks like ghost clothes, which makes the vendor satisfied. However, even this place was found by the fans, so the Green Ninja has to run again.
After returning to Ninjago City with everything needed for his costume, the Green Ninja dresses up like a ghost and paints his face with a green paint, after which he runs away from fans again and remarks that along with the other ninja, he is also out of shape, too. Lloyd goes to the ninja to hide from the fans, but gets beaten due to the ninja confusing him with an actual ghost. However, when the ninja realized what's going on, they also run from the fans and hide in the trash. After the fans left, Lloyd apologizes and explains to the others that he just wanted to scare them, so they would start training again. Zane says that Lloyd is actually right, and everyone agrees that they need to go back in shape.
