The New Sacred Flute
The New Sacred Flute[]
In the Monastery of Spinjitzu, the Ninja are training with their Golden Weapons, but find themselves distracted by an awful sound. After reporting to Master Wu, the ninja discover that Wu himself was responsible for the dreadful noise, for he had been attempting to create a new Sacred Flute but admittedly could not remember the tune from the original. Unbeknownst to the ninja, the Venomari scout Lasha was spying on them at this very moment from a nearby mountain and having spotted the flute, began rushing off in search of Pythor to warn him about the ninja's latest activities.
Returning to the Hypnobrai Tomb, Lasha informs Pythor that Wu had constructed a new sacred flute. Alarmed by this information, Pythor orders Skales to rally up their forces so that they may attack and retrieve the flute from their enemies. Though as Skales slithers off, Pythor schemes to himself that he can use the flute to control his fellow Serpentine as well.
Back at the monastery, Wu has made some adjustments to his new flute but was still struggling to find the correct tune. With Nya's urging, Wu decides to try to clear his mind with a bit of meditation before trying again. As he meditates, however, something in the adjacent room disturbs Wu's thoughts and he scrambles over to find his students loudly playing video games. After expressing his exasperation, the ninja agree to tone down their gaming so that Wu could focus on meditating. Nevertheless, an even louder crash erupts from outside as Pythor and his forces storm the Monastery in search of the new sacred flute!
As the ninja fight back against the Serpentine invaders, Skales takes advantage of the chaos to slip into Wu's meditation chamber, and after a brief struggle, the Hypnobrai general manages to wrest the instrument from Wu's hands. Unfortunately for Skales, Pythor is not too far behind and almost immediately snatches the flute from his second in command. As Pythor gloats, Wu, with the assistance of Lloyd, strike back against the generals and retake the sacred flute. Wu now recalls the tune from the original flute and begins to play it, irritating Pythor, Skales, and their entire army of snakes, forcing them all to retreat.
With the Serpentine defeated, Wu proudly raises the sacred flute, declaring that he and the ninja have a new opportunity at turning the tide against the snakes. Unfortunately at that very moment, the flute breaks apart in Wu's hands from the damages it had sustained in the prior scuffle. In response, Wu decides it may be better not to construct a new flute, deciding instead to meditate in hopes of finding a new answer. Sadly, Wu's meditation is now disturbed once more by Jay's loud video games from the room next door, with the Ninja of Lightning muttering to himself that he can finally enjoy his video games without any horrible music!
