Young Lloyd[1] is one of the three metaphysical representations of Lloyd in the latter's Ritual of Unrooting, representing his bratty past self prior to joining the ninja.

History

History[]

Seed and Soil[]

Young Lloyd appears just as Lloyd begins his trial in the Ritual of Uprooting and he meets this representation of his bratty self when he is trapped inside the roots that grew from the ground, Lloyd then sees him and asks if he is really young him, Young Lloyd laughs at why he is even asking that when he knows it's true, Lloyd then asks if he is there to guide him and Young Lloyd tells him "Does a tree guide what happens to its seeds?" which Lloyd doesn't understand. Young Lloyd then pulls out a seed from his pocket and blows it down to the ground and sprouts out the Tree of Life and others grow around them to which Lloyd says he doesn't understand and Young Lloyd tells him to get to the root of the mystery, Lloyd is walking to the main tree when more roots pop out tripping him and making him fall into the hole below with Young Lloyd above laughing at his older self falling down.

Trivia[]

  • Similar to Lloyd's younger appearance in "The Calm Inside", the design of Young Lloyd here is based on his Legacy design from 71705 Destiny's Bounty from the Ninjago: Legacy Wave 3 sets.
    • Because of this, Young Lloyd has green eyes and brown eyebrows, just like his current self, which started in Season 8: Sons of Garmadon.
  • The show design is slightly different from the original show appearance and the sets, as Young Lloyd's hair is visible even with the hood on. Also, the outfit has some slight differences compared to Lloyd in "Rise of the Snakes."
