Trivia[]

• The book states that Wu and Garmadon defeated Samukai prior to the pilot episodes, which is alluded to in "An Underworldly Takeover."
• The book includes an extended version of the scene from "King of Shadows" where the ninja obtain the Shurikens of Ice in the Frozen Wasteland. In the story's version of these events, they encounter a group of Skulkin warriors in a monster truck after Zane is frozen by the Shuriken's powers. They battle the Skulkin and Kai is ultimately able to outsmart them, causing them to sink into the water.
• On Samukai's trivia page the image used shows a beta design for Zane instead of his official finished design.
  • The design is similar to the design of the ninja in the 2009 original trailer,^[2] albeit mirrored.

Errors[]

• The bios for Kruncha and Nuckal are swapped in the hardcover edition of this book.
