Chapter 1: Fire, Fly With Me

Chapter 1: Fire, Fly With Me[]

Welcome to Phoenix[]

The Phoenix tribe is the most ancient of the Chima tribes. Actually, they are not even from Chima. They were sent from the sun to bring civilization to the animals of Chima. In their city on Mount Cavora they have the amazing Fire CHI, the Flying Phoenix Fire Temple, and the key to the Great Illumination.

I See Fire[]

“At first, I thought they were just bad dreams, but they did not feel like dreams. They felt stronger – more real. Then they got all too real. They started happening when I was wide awake. It scared me. All the others thought I was going crazy. So did I for a while. But something told me, that I was not. It felt different. So instead of fighting it, I went with it – studied and explored it. And guess what, my dreams and visions came true and I found the Phoenix.” - Eris

Eris Day of Glory[]

When Eris starts getting visions of fire, nobody takes her seriously. They just laugh at her and call her hot wings. Well – she who laughs last...

The Bird is the Word[]

Why did the Phoenix choose to contact Eris? Why not Laval? Or Cragger? The answer is simple. Like the Phoenix, Eris is skyborne – a bird. Not a fire bird, but all skyborne beings are related. Their minds think alike. On top of that Eris is noble and brave. That is why she can receive the visions sent to her by Fluminox. But there is even more to Eris. She has a faithful heart and a curious soul. She dares to believe in her visions and follows them all the way to the Fire Temple. She proves herself worthy. That is why the Fire CHI does not burn her and Fluminox himself says, that Eris has the soul of a Phoenix.

Chapter 2: That's Sir Fangar, To You

Chapter 2: That's Sir Fangar, To You[]

Frozen Out[]

Have you ever wondered why Sir Fangar wants to conquer all of Chima? Why he is so determined to rule everybody else? Watch this and find out!

Cold Escape[]

The CHI is not just a battery that you can plug in and use when you need it. It is a living force. Sometimes with a mind of its own. It wants to be used. It wants to create balance. If it is left unused, it will protest by creating earthquakes and tremors. It will seek out and find those who need it. The CHI could feel Sir Fangar’s need. It knew that for Chima to find balance again, Sir Fangar had to be set free. So it found him and gave him the power he needed.

CHI’ed Up from the Feet Up[]

How do you CHI-up when you already have a CHI in your armor just to stay awake? Sir Fangar figured it out. Well, actually, he just got incredibly lucky. Worriz tripped him, Fangar dropped a CHI, and having hit a tree, it flew into his mouth. He swallowed it by accident. The result? CHI-up for the Ice Hunters. And worries for Worriz.

The Icemen Cometh[]

For thousands of years the hunters were trapped in the ice. Slowly the boundaries between the two faded away and they became one. Instead of the hunters in the ice, they became the Ice Hunters. Now the cold is in them. The frost is their ally. The ice is their weapon.

A Tooth for a Tooth[]

Sir Fangar’s sword is called Glacior. It is made from the tooth from a giant Saber-tooth Tiger, believed to have been the legend beast of the tribe. Fangar traded the tooth for one of his own teeth, which is why he has a gold tooth. No pain, no gain. He promised the giant beast that he would use the tooth to restore the Saber-tooth Tiger tribe to their former glory and rightful place as rulers of Chima. And as you know, he is doing all he can to honor that promise. Guess he should have named the sword toothache.

Chapter 3: Keepers Of The Flame

Chapter 3: Keepers Of The Flame[]

Sons of the Sun[]

The Phoenix are birds of the ancient Fire Wing clan. Born of the supreme power of creation – the sun – and sent to Chima to elevate the primitive beings living there. In their soul and in their CHI they carry the strength and the warmth of the sun. They can bestow these powers on those who prove themselves worthy by passing the trial of fire. This red-hot challenge will defeat anyone who does not enter into its scolding trials with a pure soul, a strong heart and a kind mind. Only after passing this test, will the Phoenix trust you with the greatest of all gifts: The power of the sun itself.

Son of the Son of the Sun[]

Flinx is just a boy. A boy of more than a thousand years. He likes to keep things informal and down-to-earth. Well, as down-to-earth as you can get, floating high in the air over Chima. But there is more to Flinx than pranks and funny remarks. He bears a great power inside him. An enormous potential, waiting for ignition. Waiting for him to find his spark. When he does, the result will not just be a fire. It will be a blaze.

The Not So Great Illumination[]

They called it the Great Illumination, but when it all comes down to it, it wasn’t so great. Sir Fangar certainly does not think so. Because Fluminox wanted to stay with his baby Flinx, he did not take his place as the ninth Phoenix. This made the illumination incomplete. What was meant to heal the hearts and souls of the Chima tribes, ended up freezing many of them in a prison of ice for thousands of years. Now they have come for revenge. Guess they should try that illumination thing again. And get it right this time, please.

Harnesses of Fire[]

As the name implies, the Great Illumination is no small thing. It is not just a button you push and all is well. It takes courage, it asks for sacrifice and it demands bravery. Not to mention the eight Fire Harnesses that our friends must retrieve. In order to do so they must believe in the legends and put aside all thoughts of personal safety. Eris must think like a Phoenix and dive headfirst into the ground, Laval must find his lion heart and brave a great fall. Only by facing what they fear, can they get the Fire Harnesses and start the illumination.

Chapter 4: Highly Flammable

Chapter 4: Highly Flammable[]

Where Eagles Dare[]

Eris has followed her visions with logic. Reading books and figuring out how to understand clues. But now she faces a bigger challenge. Sometimes you cannot know for sure. Sometimes you have to close your eyes, trust your instinct and just believe.
