One day, in class, Mr. Koenig saw Ana working on a device called Photac, which emitted glowing orbs, one of which Mr. Koenig grabbed, before telling her not to deviate from the mandated curriculum.

While explaining that she and Sora were in the same class together, Jordana remembered the day her fellow student and rival was absent from class before Mr. Koenig realized that she was with Dr. LaRow.
