Synopsis

Synopsis[]

The ninja enter the final portal to find Master Wu being held captive by 4 large dragons inside a magical dome. They need to get behind the forcefield to finally get to him, and so it falls to Kai to show he has mastered the ninja virtue of courage. But very quickly the ninja learn that everything is not as it seems.

Plot

Plot[]

The ninja arrive at the Island of the Keepers and are surprised that they have their vehicles back. They soon see the Legendary Dragon is protected by a force field with a few dragon friends, along with a captured Wu. Kai begins to go for Wu but Cole stops him and they all try to come up with a plan. However, Kai tells them all they need is some good-old fashioned courage and charges into the electric forcefield.

The Legendary Dragon tosses Wu to the ground as Kai approaches. Kai leaps and does Spinjitzu at one of the dragon's friends, disintegrating it completely. With its power used to hold up the force field released, the force field falls apart, giving the rest of the ninja a chance to fight against the dragons. As the dragons go down, the ninja remark on how strange it was for them to just disappear completely. The Legendary Dragon finally decides to attack Wu but Kai jumps in its path to shield Wu from the blast and Lloyd finishes off the dragon. The dragon also disappears and they recall how bizarre everything was. They soon realize Wu had actually planned the whole thing and he congratulates the ninja for using the six virtues of Spinjitzu to save him, before he ends the manifestations and returns everyone to the Monastery.

Trivia

Trivia[]

  • Narrator: Kai
  • This is the second short of the Virtues of Spinjitzu where the episode title at the beginning of the short is not written in the Kunoichi font. It's rather written in the Passero One font, as are all episodes of The Island. The first short is "Wisdom."

Cultural references[]

  • The line "Set blasters to stun" is a reference to both Star Wars and Star Trek, as the term "blasters" comes from the former, and "set _ to stun" from the latter.

Continuity[]

  • It is revealed that all the ninja's adventures were manifestations created by Wu using his Creation powers to teach them the six Virtues of Spinjitzu.

Errors[]

  • After Jay and the Thunder Dragon zaps one of the purple dragons, Jay is missing his shoulder pad.
  • As the Legendary Dragon fires on Wu and he shouts "No" the clip is of his younger self from "Battle Between Brothers" 11 years before this short aired.
