Overview
Honesty is the fourth The Virtues of Spinjitzu short. It aired on February 1, 2022 on the LEGO YouTube channel.
Jay is the focus ninja of this short, and the Never-Realm and the Castle of Ice are revisited here.
Synopsis

The ninja are transported to the Palace of the Ice Emperor where Jay and Kai must take part in a jousting competition. On the back of dragons, the pair need to defeat two dangerous ice samurais or they will be made into frozen statues. Can Jay and Kai win this honest battle and continue their increasingly desperate mission to find Master Wu?
Plot

Kai and Jay arrive at the Castle of Ice, where they meet two Blizzard Warriors on giant Frost Wolves and the Ice Emperor, whom they believe is Zane taking up the persona again, only to find him, Cole, Lloyd, and Nya in a Vengestone cage. The Ice Emperor challenges them for their friends, stating that if they can joust against his Blizzard Samurai without dragon flight, he will free their friends and allow them to escape into the portal to find Wu. Kai goes first and knocks off the first Blizzard Warrior with ease.
Jay is up next and the second jousting begins. He knocks the second Blizzard Warrior off of the hound, but he falls too, before recovering. Luckily, he isn't seen falling. Jay tells Kai of what happened but he insists Jay not to mention it, as to the Emperor, it appears that they won. The Ice Emperor congratulates Kai and Jay for an honest joust and proceeds to punish his warriors. However, Jay comes to their defense and admits he was knocked off, much to Kai's horror. To their surprise, the Ice Emperor applauds him for his honesty, calling it the true test and admitting he knew Jay got knocked off before freeing the others and creates the portal for them. The Ice Emperor wishes them luck on their mission to rescue their master and the six head through the portal.

Continuity[]
- In this short, only Kai and Jay are equipped with their Hero suits.
- The soundtrack playing when the Ice Emperor frees the ninja is the same as in "Awakenings" when Zane remembers who he is.
Errors[]
- Wu created the illusion of the Castle of Ice in this short, although he had never seen it himself and as shown in "The Kaiju Protocol," he had no idea what the Never-Realm looks like.
- However, it is possible that the throne room was formed using some of the ninjas' memories.
