As the Hunter Glacier continues its final assault on the Lion City, the Fire Tribes look over the battle and King Fluminox begins to worry. His son, Flinx, however, says he believes his friends below may win if they turn the tide, and Fluminox decides to send out the Tiger Strikers. The Strikers are dropped off at the Lion Temple and assist the tribes in their fight. During the battle, Lundor talks to Tazar about the last time these Strikers were used, and Lundor feels upset about Tormak leaving them. As soon as they touch down, they instantly cause the hunters to retreat back to their fortress. However, the Ice Bears arrive and turn the tide, flipping over Lundor's striker. He looks up at the sky and sees Eris flying with her Fire Wing Harness, remembering that Fluminox told them to put their faith in both the sky and ground-born.
