The Land of Madness Monastery was one of the parallel counterparts of the Monastery of Spinjitzu located inside of a Quealich and contained the portal gate of the realm.

History

Before the series[]

At some point, the Merge gave rise to the monastery along with its portal gate. Some time later, a Quealich swallowed it, leaving the monastery trapped within its entrails.

Chaos Reigns[]

After using the portal of the Monastery of Mysterium to try to reach Ninjago, Kai, Nya, and Jay ended up in the dark monastery, somewhat confused at having arrived in a new realm. Immediately after arriving, the portal door suddenly closed and could not be reopened, leaving them stranded there.

Jay, Nya, and Kai caused the Kwilish to vomit by destroying the Mech Dragon with its self detonation feature, which ultimately led to the destruction of the monastery when the beast expelled it.
