Ghost Alert! is the 7th issue of of the Ninjago Magazine. It includes 891507 Zane and Deepstone Zane appears on the cover. It was released on November 4, 2015.

Ghoultar stood between the Ninja and Bansha, the latter of whom had captured Nya. After some brief taunts, Ghoultar turned and flew off alongside his companions with the entire group of ghosts heading in the direction of Ninjago City. Although the other four ninja pursued their ghostly foes as fast as they could, to their surprise, there was no sign of ghosts anywhere in Ninjago City. As they walked across the eerily quiet city, a speeding truck barreled down the street and nearly struck the four. Fortunately, they managed to narrowly avoid being struck, though their hasty leap had landed them right beside a street artist.
Gathering beside the artist, Kai, Cole, and Jay made fun of his work, which seemed to be nothing but an entire canvas covered in black paint. Zane however, noticed that the painter seemed to have been in a trance of some kind. Suddenly, Nya's face appeared on the dark canvas as she warned her friends not to come look for her, as they would be walking straight into a trap. This immediately angered Kai, who had to be held back by the others as he aggressively pointed towards the painter, demanding answers. Without a word, new images appeared on the canvas, which Zane realized was a map beckoning for the ninja to come to an old, abandoned chocolate factory.
A few minutes later, the ninja arrived at the factory, expecting a trap. And as expected, the four were almost immediately attacked by the Ghost Warriors after entering the building! Thanks to their Aeroblades, the ninja made quick work of the foot soldiers and made their way up to the second floor where Bansha and Ghoultar waited with Nya. As the ninja approached, Bansha held her blade at Nya's throat, warning her foes not to come any closer. "If you want to save her, then get in the cage. Then she will not be harmed." insisted the ghost sorceress, though Nya screamed for her friends to save themselves. With no answer from the ninja, Bansha raised her blade over her head in preparation to strike Nya. Fortunately however, Zane hurled his aeroblade with just the right precision and angle to disarm the wicked Blade Master and granting Nya an opportunity to escape. As she and Zane climbed up towards the roof, Bansha called out for her reinforcements and an army of ghosts appeared before Cole, Kai, and Jay. Surrounded on every side, Kai suggested that they all back into the cage so that the ghosts could not attack them from behind. Unfortunately, this plan was not well thought out at all. While it was true the trio would not run any risks of being attacked from behind, Bansha simply flipped the cage closed, completing the ghosts' original objective.
With three of the ninja incapacitated, Bansha and Ghoultar made their way to the roof to dispatch the final two. Zane defended Nya with his aeroblade, which then struck the side of a water tower on the roof as it boomeranged back to him. When Nya pointed out the water tower, Zane knocked it over, spilling its contents out onto the two Weapon Masters, destroying them both and sending them back to the Cursed Realm. The flood of water then rushed back into the factory itself, destroying the remaining ghost warriors, the cage holding the other ninja captive, and the entire factory itself. As the ninja recover, Nya asks everyone what they have learned from the experience. In response, Zane suggests the fact that ghosts didn't like water while Jay said it was to "Never order water from a ghost!"
