Ninja in Dreamland
Ninja in Dreamland[]
Following a mission, the Ninja walked towards a forest marked by a stone archway at the entrance. As they walked, Kai mused if they would ever become Masters of Airjitzu. At that moment, Lloyd seemingly ran past them and into the forest. As the ninja ran through the archway in pursuit of Lloyd, the forest itself seemed to change; the trees twisted and grew ever more gnarled, their leaves changing color from green to a strange ashen shade as a mysterious fog rolled in out of nowhere. To further complicate matters, both Lloyd and the stone archway vanished from view.
As the ninja surveyed their surroundings, a wagon emerged from the fog. Peculiarly however, the wagon was pulled by two men overseen by a third while a pair of yaks followed from behind. When the ninja attempted to ask the men about their whereabouts, the men ignored them, seemingly in a trance as they continued to move onward. At that moment, a group of Ghost Warriors made their presence known, emerging from the fog and behind the trees as they confronted the ninja. "Better look behind you!" taunted one of the ghosts. It was too late however. As it turned out, the men pulling the wagon had actually been ghosts themselves and in a rapid motion, they turned the wagon around and rammed it into the unsuspecting ninja who then fell into a strange, swirling vortex.
Within the vortex, the ninja discovered that it was filled with various people and animals, all seemingly trapped in a deep sleep. Not long after, Nya herself fell asleep as well, with her allies failing to rouse her. Realizing their predicament, the other four carry her sleeping body as they use Airjitzu to escape from the vortex. Emerging back on solid land, Nya awoke, but something was different about her; her eyes had turned green. Now under the control of a ghost, Nya began attacking the rest of the ninja who effortlessly dodged her blows. Kai attempted to talk to Nya, encouraging her to fight back against the ghost possessing her body, and for a split second it seemed to work! NOT! The ghost had merely been pretending to have been overcome in order to sucker punch Kai. Infuriated, Kai promptly struck his sister with a powerful burst of Spinjitzu, knocking her flat onto her back. As Nya regained control over her body, Blade Master Bansha revealed herself as the possessor. Leaving Nya's body, Bansha summoned Ghost Warriors to her aid, ordering them to focus on Nya in particular as she was dangerous.
The ninja fought back against the Ghosts with their Aeroblades, and while they succeeded in destroying many of them, there were still far outnumbered to inflict any meaningful damage to Bansha's forces. As she watched her friends struggle against seemingly insurmountable odds, Nya felt a flushed feeling of anger beginning to creep over her. As power filled every fiber of her body, Nya unleashed a powerful, but uncontrollable, torrent of Water at the ghostly hordes...which unfortunately also knocked out her own allies who had been in close proximity to the horde. Nya slumped to the ground, exhausted from this display of power as Bansha laughed. "Well done!" she said sarcastically, "You have taken out everyone except for me!" With that, Bansha captured the weakened ninja of water and began to fly away. The rest of the ninja struggled to their feet and began to pursue but were suddenly cut off by the intervention of Scythe Master Ghoultar.
