Ninjago City in Danger! is the 25th issue of the Ninjago Magazine. It includes 891725 Lloyd, and Fusion Jay appears on the cover. It was released on May 24, 2017 in Germany.

Vermillion Battle!

Ronin and Dareth were on a walk through Ninjago City, when the Vermillion suddenly attacked. Trying to be a hero, Dareth convinced Ronin that they need to investigate where does the snake army going. After going down to the sewers, the duo saw that the Vermillion are robbing a warehouse with BorgWatch. After the start of a battle, a vermillion soldier accidently revealed that their plan is to destroy everything related to Cyrus Borg. During the fight, the brown ninja came up with a plan to use the BorgWatch to play a sound of the Sacred Flute. However, this didn't work against this type of snake, so the heroes needed to came up with a new plan.

Dareth and Ronin asked themselves what would the ninja do in this situation, after which Ronin managed to do a Spinjitzu tornado, although it was unffective. After this, Ronin remembered that he hid his Salvage M.E.C. nearby, and after using it, the Vermillion were finally defeated.

The comic shows that a sound of Sacred Flutes does not affect the Vermillion. It is unknown why is this the case, as it clearly can affect their mother.
While the plot of the comic implies that Ronin didn't manage to do a clear Spinjitzu tornado, the comic itself shows the opposite.
