History

History[]

Prelude[]

After Pythor unleashed the Great Devourer using the Four Silver Fangblades at the Lost City of Ouroboros, the Great Devourer awakened and swallowed Master Wu and Pythor and then chased and destroyed the Destiny's Bounty, causing the ninja to retreat.[2][3]

Attack on Ed & Edna's Scrap N Junk[]

After the ninja lured the Great Devourer to Ed & Edna's Scrap N Junk while they were at a fare in Ninjago City and made the Ultra Sonic Raider out of the Tornado of Creation and used a recording of the Wu's flute to hurt the Great Devourer, although the serpent damaged Zane and escaped.[3]

Attack on Ninjago City[]

The ninja rushed to Ninjago City where the Great Devourer started attacking the people and hitting the buildings, one of these buildings being the apartments that Harumi and her parents lived in.[3][4]

Later, when Nya flew her Samurai Mech into the mouth of the Great Devourer, the Ultra Dragon swooped in and began attacking the Great Devourer, but the serpent hit the Ultra Dragon to the ground and hurt him. While the ninja grieved, Lord Garmadon returned and told the ninja that the only way to destroy the Great Devourer was with the Golden Weapons which only Garmadon could wield, the ninja made the decision to give Garmadon the weapons while they made the Great Devourer stay in place.

After successfully making the Great Devourer stay in place, the ninja watched as Garmadon jumped down of the building and stabbed the Devourer with the Golden Weapons, killing the serpent.[3]
